Description of Work: Jeff and his team were great. I met with Jeff to review the scope of work and he fully understood what I wanted. He and his team were there exactly when they said they would be and they made sure that the job was done correctly, and this included several replacement pieces that needed to be installed at a later time. I was impressed with their conscientious work.

Description of Work: I must have drawn the short straw based on all the positive reviews! I called to arrange installation of several TV's, audio equipment etc. while leaving a voice mail with my info I received probably an auto text saying "with a client, will call", no call. Called the next day, call was answered, "with a client, will call back", no call back then and still no call 8 days later. Called another company today, was on a job, called me within the hour, will be at the house on Saturday to start installing a large number of components. Hook-it ups reviews are great, but I gave up waiting.

Your comments are valid and the text response on 9/17 @ 11:58 am was initiated by me when I was working with a customer. I don't accept calls or do business while working at a customers home, and tend to work late hours accommodating their schedules. We have been extremely busy servicing our existing customers and their referrals. Honestly, you are not the only perspective customer this has happened too. I am trying my best to keep up with following up on new calls, contacts and estimates. And expect that to improve as I spend less time in the field, and more time running my business.

I was very pleased with the service. I care for a disabled man and I needed the TV placed on the wall so that he could see if better from his bed. Upon my first call I discussed the installation which I feared could be difficult. The walls of the house are plaster and date to 1960. Jeff came and examined the wall that evening at a time we agreed upon. He had a state of the art stud-finder and after making a few measurements determined there would be no problem mounting the TV on the desired wall. We made an appointment for the following evening. When Jeff was delayed by a complex job, he called and we adjusted the appointment time. He arrived and worked around the patient in the bed. The job took a bit longer than expected due to the cramped space, but he remained calm and friendly the entire time. When the patient grew tired and requested to turn off the light, Jeff readily complied and completed the job by flashlight. I was very impressed by Jeff who did the work. He was friendly and professional, even when the work became a bit trying. I am very pleased with the work and have no zero problems. If I ever need similar work I will call on him again.
Description of Work: I purchased a coupon from Angie's list for wall installation of a flat screen TV. The only additional expense was the cost of the bracket to specifically fit my TV.

Jeff Janson came to our office to give us a quote to install our video surveillance system. He was very knowledgeable about the installation as to how it would be performed and how it would perform after installation. Even though he had never installed this exact system, I felt very comfortable that he could perform the job. During the entire process, Jeff was very professional; he stayed in constant contact and was always very punctual for our meetings. Jeff did not charge for all of the hours that he spent on the job because he was learning the system as we were. He never gave me the impression that he was in a hurry to leave our job to go to another. He stayed around until we were very comfortable running the system on our own. He was very conscientious about keeping the job clean; I suppose that is due to his expertise in running cabling for stereo systems.

His background is in computers, but he also has expertise in audio and video. He hooked up my TV and side jobs that went with it. He also hooked up my convoluted audio system, a surround system in another room, ran wires through the ceiling into the screened in porch for external speakers and he even did some odds and ends for me like hanging sports memorabilia. He is a perfectionist and he takes his time, if you're in a hurry for a job he's probably not someone you want to utilize. He charges you according to the job so that if it takes him longer than expected then it is not an issue. He was here past midnight one time. He takes his time, his prices are very reasonable and I was very pleased with the caliber of his work.
