Jeff and his associate were extremely professional, knew what they were doing. They were very comfortable to talk to and to ask questions of them. They were honest and trustworthy. The cable in the wall was too thin to accommodate the Dish Network Hopper, so they went under the house and installed thick enough cable to handle the Dish Network. We were missing remotes to electronic equipment, but that did not frazzle them (as it does me). They patiently work the installation without them and even though one unit is extremely old, they still got it set up as if it was new. We would never call anyone else unless Jeff told us they didn't do the next job we call them for. I have talked them up to people I think may need someone like their business and am passing out his business cards. Great Contactor. We are very pleased with this business Hook-It-Up!! He was exceptional--very knowledgeable, but also practical. His advice gave me the multimedia system I wanted, but at a lower cost than I expected. His suggestions were practical and economical. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Absolutely great. No cords visible, TV is secure. Was professional, courteous, painstaking in doing the job correctly and even helped with other electronic/stereo issues we had around the house that we did not originally ask him to do.

We called Jeff twice early on the week of July 1st, but both times got his voice mail stating that he was either on the phone or with a client. We called the third time on Friday, July 5th and left a message with details regarding the home audio/video service we were inquiring about and our contact information. And then we waited...and waited. I thought that perhaps he was out of town for the holiday and had not remembered to update his voice mail message stating that he was out of the office. We waited one week to avoid returning a call near the holiday, until Friday, July 12th. On that day, I called and left another message regarding our home audio/video needs and our contact information. It has now been five days since I left that second message and over two weeks that we have been attempting to contact this business owner. I have waited so long due to his good reviews, which make it hard to believe that these reviews could be accurate given that the business seems to be demonstrating this level of unprofessionalism. I am confused...

From the time I made initial contact with Jeff until the job was finished I was totally impressed and pleased. First class work practices, professional and on time. i will bring him back as other needs arise and i would reccommend them to my best friends.

Jeff mounted our TV above our fireplace and set up an and quot;eyeand quot; for us 2 years ago. Recently, Time Warner Cable came out and replaced our cable box. In in doing so, our TV was no longer working remotely. To troubleshoot the issue, we called Jeff and he spoke directly with the Time Warner Cable staff that day and then Jeff came out the next day to fix the issue. Jeff arrived on-time, as expected and he replaced the old part with a brand new one, with no up-charge to us! Jeff is always diligent about responding quickly to our calls and questions. He stands by his work and will come out to resolve an issue in a timely manner. From our standpoint, we believe that Jeff truly values his customers, which is very hard to find these days. Because of the service that we have received from Jeff, we will continue to use Jeff for all of our future projects.

When I initially called Jeff, he answered the phone right away. After we discussed what I needed and when I was available for an estimate, we decided that he could come out later that night to give me an estimate. I should Jeff what I wanted done, and had him I wanted to broken down into 3 parts, so I could pick and choose if I wanted the work done or not. Without seeing the estimate, or coming to any type of agreement, Jeff and quot;penciledand quot; me in for the installation appointment. Jeff sent me a proposal the following week, and answered any questions I had about the proposal. On the day of the work, Jeff and his assistant showed up on time. They prepared the work area with blankets as not to scratch the TV, fire place, mantel, table, or window sill. These guys are meticulous in the care that they take with your home..very respectful...very customer service oriented. When they needed my advise, I gave it to them. Besides that, they worked until the job was done to my satisfaction. It took about 7:30 hrs, they took about an hour for lunch, so bout 6:30 hrs working...they charged me for 5 hours. Actually, the final price was below the intial quote, and I believe the initial quote was reasonable. I am looking to get some surveillance equipment installed, and Jeff will be my first call. Thanks for all your help Jeff...OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!!!

Arrived on time and did great job. Didn't charge for training of new technician. System sounds great.

Jeff Janson listened, understood, advised, and produced exactly what we wanted; nothing more, nothing less. The other companies I spoke to said the equipment might be bad. They all wanted to do more, but Jeff Janson did exactly what I wanted. If you need anything hooked up or wired for you, choose Jeff first.

They did a great job, were very efficient, friendly, and took an interest in making sure my questions were answered thoroughly.

Jeff arrived promptly and assessed our needs after hearing about the problems we were having. He gave us recommendations for a new receiver and even went to Best Buy with me to pick it out and negotiated a good price for us! He and his assistant then rewired the set up, got everything up and running and went over the system with us. He was here a total of six hours.

Jeff was always quick to return calls to schedule appointment and show up when promised. Listened to my needs regarding setting up an existing home theater set-up but with a new receiver. Quickly got things up and running. Mine was the last appointment of the day, The thing that really stood out came after he left. Some issues popped up later that evening and I texted Jeff. He spent the better part of an hour solving issues as we communicated through text and video call at no additional charge. Will happily recommend Hook-It-Up and Jeff Jansen again.

He recommended a Blu Ray which he went out and purchased for us. He was having issues and had to come back a second day. He went over everything with me and made sure i knew how everything worked. I am very happy with everything he did.

Jeff is great to work with. He was very careful and conscientious while working in our home, he cheerfully and patiently responded to our unending questions, and was overall very pleasant and professional to deal with. We plan to call him again when we're ready to upgrade. We did have a component failure; it was not any fault of Jeff's, but he took total responsibility for replacing and re-installing the item. He even came out the same day the system stopped functioning and temporarily replaced our receiver with one of his own so we wouldn't have loss of service over the weekend. He came back the following week and installed a brand new unit. I can't say enough about his level of service.

Jeff responded promptly to my initial call and arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. He examined what we had brought from CA and explained to us what would and would not work in our new location. My husband and I both recognized Jeff's professionalism and knowldege and knew we wanted him to do the job. He clearly explained his fee and what he felt was an approximate timeline for completion of the job. He began immediatly and returned for two additonal visits to get the job completed to both his and our satisfaction. Overall, we found Jeff's work to be excellent and will definitely reach out to him for future needs. We will also highlly recommend his services to others.

This is the second review I am submitting on this provider. I had contacted Jeff previously regarding purchase and installation of a flat screen TV and was very pleased with our interaction. Jeff suggested a sound bar as an add on for the TV. I have a hearing problem and he recommended getting the sound bar to amplify the TVs speakers. So we agreed and Jeff set that up for us on a second visit. We then decided to get a Blu ray player to go with the new TV and again contacted Jeff to set up an appt to install it. In the meantime we developed a cable TV problem but couldn't get a same day app't with a tech. We also discovered that I was not able to tolerate the volume/bass settings of the sound bar due to the frequencies involved in my hearing loss I think. Jeff came the same day I called and fixed the cable problem and removed the sound bar which solved another problem. He was very patient as in his initial visit in explaining exactly what he was going to do and answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Jeff and am sure if you hire him you will be as pleased as we are.

I am very pleased with this experience, as I have been with all the providers I have found on Angie's List ! Jeff , the owner, is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and patient with and quot;technically challengedand quot; folks like me. When I left a phone message for him seeking information he called back within an hour and spent quite a bit of time discussing possible models with me. He was prompt for the installation appointment and made sure we understood the details we needed to properly operate it. We would urge anyone in need of such technical assistance in the audio video arena to contact Jeff , and I am certain they would not be disappointed!

Let me tell you - HIRE these guys!!! I spoke with Jeff (the owner) and he personally came and provided a very detailed estimate. When it came time to schedule the service he was very flexible and worked around my schedule and what was best for me. I received a call from Jeff the day prior to the appointment to confirm everything. Jeff and Gary arrived on-time, practically to the second! Without asking, they removed their shoes before entering my home and put down drop-cloths to protect my carpet and furniture that was in the vicinity of where the work would be performed. These guys worked continually until everything was just perfect, including a few extras that were not originally estimated. On the way out the door Gary noticed that the TV was not quite level, although I could not tell. They insisted on taking the TV down and making sure that it went back up on the wall perfectly level. I ask you, what other service representative have you had conducting work in your home who were about to leave but stayed because the work was just not perfect enough? My answer to that question is now one - Hook It Up (and they did indeed hook me up)!!! Jeff and Gary were extremely professional and friendly, and I cannot believe how fabulous my living room looks now that my plasma is above the fireplace and my electronics are neatly tucked away, no wires in sight!! The work is immaculate, which is just how my home looked when they left - they vacuumed and dusted/wiped down everything in my living room before leaving. My bill was a measly $14 over the original estimate - I expected much more due to all the extra work they did for me. Again, hire Jeff and Hook It Up, you will not regret it!!

They came right away and fixed the problem. The cost was minimal. I called him on a Sunday morning and he came right away.

Overall, the whole experience was very smooth and positive.

Jeff and Gary were great. They were on time to do the work, and very neat and careful with my hardwood floors etc. It took about five hours to get everything set up (Internet TV - Smart TV) and to make sure that it was working properly and that I knew how to operate everything. They were very patient with me and told me to call them if I had any problems at all. Their estimate for the work done and equipment purchased was within $25.00. Jeff shopped around to get me the best prices on products purchased. I would highly recommend Hook-It-Up, they did a fantastic job!

Jeff came to my house to see what I needed to have done so that we could improve the sound quality for the main den downstairs. He gave me recommendations on what to purchase and where I could locate the items I needed (Amazon.com for most of them). He prepared a quote for his labor to install, setup, and test the new sound bar. His workmanship was great, he cleaned up the wood shavings from his drilling, and he took the time to explain the settings and the new remote controll. Afterwards, he called in to see if we had any questions, and reminded us that we could call him anytime should questions come up about the sound bar he installed.
