There are large rodents in the attic of this building that will make fighting noises all night long and into the early morning hours. Leanne stated that she blocked all entrances to the attic and crawl, thus keeping all rodents out. However, the rodents are still there and still making noise through the night. When I told Leanne that the problem had not been fixed, she yelled at me stating that it was only birds fighting on the roof.

They did come out but i got a local person to do the same job for less money. I think i found the other one on Angie's List. They drove an impressive truck, the young woman had a uniform, she did a quote. They seemed professional but i kind of had a bad impression because of the estimate.

About 2 days before Christmas, sounds that I had been hearing but thought were squirrels running over the roof of my house, became much louder and when I went outside I could clearly see the hole that squirrels had chewed through the cedar boards of my chimney and two squirrels going in and out of the hole. I was referred to Animal Solutions by my handyman. The Project Administrator came the next morning to inspect that hole as well as do a really thorough inspection of my home including the attic to determine where the squirrels and possibly other rodents may have entered. She set open traps in the yard with bait to get the animals familiar with the traps and planned to return in a few days to set these traps on the roof and over the hole to catch any squirrels that might be in the chimney. Animals are relocated not destroyed which is one of the reasons that I liked this company. Over the course of about 2 - 3 weeks (extended period because I was called out of town on a family emergency) two squirrels were trapped and removed. Though there was evidence of rodents having been in the attic at one time and also in the garage (as well as snakes), traps were placed in the attic. No rodents were caught. Then all the holes that had been chewed through the cedar boards as well as places around the house that had evidence of chewing or rotting were covered or plugged. A repellant was sprayed in the attic to make sure that no animals would be attracted to the attic and net covers placed over the vent pipes on the roof to ensure that no animals found their way into my house through them. The work is warrantied for 5 years and can be purchased annually after that. Next step is having the rotting cedar boards replaced/repaired and the house stained. I could not have asked for a more responsive, professional, experienced project administrator than the woman who provided the service. Everything that was done was explained clearly and she made sure that I understood everything that was required. She checked regularly and responded quickly when the squirrels were trapped. The two men who came to do the repair work were also very professional, friendly and polite. They got right to work and finished in a few hours. The project administrator came the next day to inspect their work and make sure that all the holes were covered. The quality of the work was excellent. I could not have asked for anything more.
