Titan Termite & Pest Control

They come every 3 months. It's working great. I haven't seen a bug in a long time.

They do a good job for me. They're at the home for 30 minutes on average. They're very punctual and call ahead of time.

Professional and proficient house visit by experienced employee.

For about ten years I've used Titan Termite and Pest for termite bond and pest control at my home and several rental properties I own. They have been very reliable and responsive to questions and comments I've had. I would highly recommend them and will continue using them.

They come out every three months. They are very good. I have had them for two years.

**************Update in Response to Titan's Response"******************* Titan is correct that this issue was taken to court; however, they are completely incorrect in their statement that it was decided in their favor. The result of the court case was that it was dismissed without prejudice. For those of you that may be unfamiliar with the term, as Titan clearly is, it means that neither party "wins" and that the case may be brought before the court again at a later time. Despite all of my evidence against Titan, the case was dismissed without prejudice because the contract that I signed with Titan was not permanently binding. What that means is, as a customer, you are under no obligation to continue to use their service if you are unsatisfied with their work after a year. On one hand, this is good because you are not stuck with this Robber Barron of a company for more than a year, but it is bad because, as long as they do the bare minimum, they will be able to get your court case dismissed without prejudice. Now, I am not implying that Titan has robbed every customer that they have ever worked with. After all, they would not stay in business if they did. What I am implying is that Titan definitely dropped the ball in my case and instead of working to make it right, they let the issue escalate to court and then LIED IN THE COURTHOUSE to cover it up. If you do let one of Titan's smooth talking representative's find their way onto your property and into your wallet, be very cautious and I urge you to double check all of their work and to DOCUMENT everything that they do. You would be wise to go as far as recording the conversations that you have with their employees and the owners. ************ End of update********************* My house had active termites, so I had Titan come out and gave me an estimate. The worker that came out was friendly and I felt the price was reasonable, so I hired him to do the service - which came with a 1 year warranty/monitoring period. Everything went well for the first 4 or so months and the checkups went smoothly. After that, one of the monitoring stations broke and I requested that it it be fixed. From then on, I continuously got excuses and the device was never fixed. For 6 months, I periodically called and got many excuses including, "Oh, we were at your house, but we did not have any stations left in our truck at the time. We will come back next week". If this had happened one time, that is understandable, but I brought the issue to their attention dozens of times over a 6 month period. Needless to say, on the renewal date (when I would have had to pay them more money), they were bright and early (while I was still asleep). They fixed the broken station and said they did an inspection on the crawlspace of my home. The crawlspace of my home was locked and they had no key, nor did the noise of someone crawling under my bed awake me, so I confronted the employee for lying to my face. He laughed and stuck with his story. I contacted one of the owners and had a pleasant talk with her. When I followed up on the conversion with the other owner, I was given such a fictitious story that it blew my mind. Either the entire company are a bunch of liars or the first owner blatantly lied to the second one. Basically, if you are thinking of going with this company, you may need to seriously reconsider. SC law states that inorder for a company to be bonded on your home, they have to do the entire treatment process. This includes situations in which no termites are active. If you spend $x,xxx for the initial treatment and expect to pay $xxx each year to renew, you will have to pay the $x,xxx amount again to a new company when Titan disappoints you.

He is very thorough, and nice. I have used them for years and they have been very reliable.

They are awesome. I have nothing but good to say about them. They offered me some other services at really decent prices. They are really good. They were amazing. They told me what time they would be there and they were there on time. I didn't have a block of time that I had to wait on them. They were very professional both times they have come out. I can't talk better about this company.

I would not say that I am in the process of working with another company. I switched to Titan around 10 years ago. The price is comparable to everybody else. If one understands the termite and pest control business, I cut them a little slacker than I would for another company because I know what they once they get into house they can treat for anything we have an issue with at the time of the visit.

The service guy was extremely nice and informative. He went through the whole process and didn’t push; he gave his spiel and let me make up my mind.

From the free estimate to the day treatment was done, I was impressed with the work ethic of the employees. They worked professionally, quickly and cleaned up after the job was done. The cost and opinions for payment are a relief to the pocketbook. A very reasonable payment plan was offered during the free inspection. Although I didn't chose to use the payment plan, I believe it was 1/3 down and 3 months to pay the rest. Whenever I called to make an appointment or ask a question I was either able to speak to someone or my call was returned immediately. The day of the treatment the gentleman who was scheduled to do the work kept in touch with me by cell phone to coordinate when I needed to be at the house. What a pleasant change. I felt like a true customer and not a contract fulfillment. I recommend this company completely!
