I called Ron after our kitchen ceiling leaked during a heavy rain storm. His crew was at my house the next morning and the work was completed before sunset. Not only was the job priced fair but the communication was always fast & easy. I couldn't recommend them enough. Honest, fair, local company!

I couldnt have been more pleased with the professional customer service and the quality workmanship of my roofing repairs. They even returned to make additional improvements after the job was complete! My only complaint would be that I didnt feel like I received prompt responses to my texts or calls, but that is probably just due to how in demand Atlantic Coast is. & I understand that he has hired someone to handle that now.

Great. Came out right away. Gave a very detailed estimate that included all the work. Showed up on time for the replacement and it was all done in one day.

Ron came out to give an estimate within a couple days of contacting Atlantic. I had contacted 3 other companies. One refused to do repairs at this time, one never showed up to provide my requested estimate nor did they bother getting in contact and the third never responded period. The roofers that came out were polite and professional. They were a little over estimate but as long as my roof is good to go I can live with the $200. Increase due to more damage than expected.

Ron was very responsive to my initial call; he had a family emergency and apologized for taking 3 business days to reply. In this town, I'm lucky to get a reply at all!! Following this, he was at my house the next day for a free estimate, knew the issue at once and ready to work the same week. The estimate also came in about $500 less than I had budgeted. Jeff arrived to do the work on time. He also found a couple of other spots that needed repaired; explained the reasons, my options and quickly began those repairs as well. Due to weather they had to return a 2nd day but kept in constant contact with me and worked around my schedule. I highly recommend this team for any roofing concerns.

Ron Spivey returned our call quickly and came promptly to look and provide an estimate. He was quickly able to identify the problem as a damaged "pipe collar" and we were happy with the quoted price. The repair went smoothly and we would certainly work with this company again for future needs.

We did not have any leaks or known issues, but I could tell that the roof was reaching the end of its useful life during my own inspections. Ron came out to do an assessment, and was early for the appointment. We got along very well and he was able to answer all my questions satisfactorily. Atlantic Coast was one of three estimates we got, and it was not the cheapest. However, I felt much more comfortable that working with Ron and his team would be less stressful and the work would be quality based on other Angie's List reviews. After agreeing on price and start date (about a week out), I had limited contact with Ron. Jeff is the co-owner, and he was on site during my roof replacement. Jeff and I also got along well and he was very receptive to my roofing needs and preferences. His crew took care not to damage the yard, covered bushes during demolition, and did an excellent job with cleanup. I observed the work off and on throughout the two-day job and feel confident the work was done correctly. I walked the roof after the job and have no real issues with the work. The warranty gives me peace of mind that if any issues should arise, we will be taken care of.

Ron was responsive and communicative and did the job as quoted when he said he was going to do it. It hasn't rained hard since he did the repairs, but the work looks good, he knew what he was talking about and I expect the repairs to be sound. Upon his review he noticed that his guy had left some nails and old shingles on the roof so offered to have him come back by and fully clean up, which is appreciated.

They did a fantastic job. Work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. They cleaned up all of the debris and remnants of the old roof as well as the scrap shingles. You could not even tell they had been there. This house is right on the beach with a multi-level roof. Top roof being about 50 feet up. The guys had to work in very windy conditions and watching them work you could tell they were all very experienced workers. The communication was excellent. The owners as well as the workers were great to work with. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely use them again.

I had another roofer who had come out and said it could not be repaired, it had to be replaced. Mr. Ron came out to look at my roof and see what I needed to have happen. After inspection, he determined there was no need for repair and definitely no need for replacement. He also told me if there were any leaks to call him and he would see what needed to be done at a later date. Most of all I was impressed as he said he could not tell me I needed something I did not need. There was no charge for him coming out.

Ron and his crew did a superb job in all phases of a complete roof replacement and is highly recommended as a reliable contractor who provides the highest quality work at a fair price. Ron provided an accurate quotation, was on-site supervising his employees and continually communicated the on-going status of the work. Our new roof looks great!

He sent his nephew out to do repairs and he did awesome job.

I hired Ron because he was the only contractor that showed up when he said he would and got his estimate to me when he said he would. His communication was great through the whole process and he really worked with us when what we hoped would be a "small" project turned into a big one. Glad we went with him & I would definitely use him again.

Went extreamley well. Called owner and he came out the next day. Got the quote, scheded the work and completed the work within three days.

While our home was on the market it had a sudden leak leaving a wet spot on the garage ceiling. We were in a bind. Ron came to our home, provided an estimate and relaxed our roof, all within a weeks time. He was prompt, professional. The installation took 2 days. They removed all old shingles with architectural shingles. They cleaned up all debris.

I called Ron to get a quote for leak repair in the morning and he met me at the house the next day exactly on time. I called other roofers prior to him to look at it, and they couldn't really tell me the issues. After describing the problem, Ron immediately knew what was wrong and said he had fixed the problem on other singles before. He sent a detailed quote a few days later, and I asked him to begin work. Once his guys started the job, they uncovered an additional issue that would normally cost an additional $400-$500 worth of work, but Ron said they would fix it at no additional cost! The repair was finished in about a day and I haven't seen any issues since. I would highly recommend Roofing by Atlantic Coast. Ron was a really nice guy, knowledgeable, and very professional in every way.

I called Jeff during the weekend when we saw a small stain on the ceiling. He called back right away and scheduled the visit on Monday. He visited my house on Monday, climbed on the roof and gave us the repairing suggestions. After we approved his repairing suggestions, he came back the next day and fixed the leak for us. Besides the place where the leak was, he went ahead and checked the other areas and fixed several other places where leak could be developing in the future. He also removed the pine straws on the roof which he thinks could be another cause of the leak. He cleaned up both the roof and the ground after the work was done. I feel so impressed when I came back from the work and saw the clean roof and the ground. I used them before to put on a new roof for another house of mine. I know they have a great team. But I didn't know that he was such a professional and reliable roofer himself. I will definitely continue to use them in the future and I also highly recommend them to anybody else who will need roof to be repaired or need a new roof.

We obtained a few estimates before going to Roofing by Atlantic Coast, but they seemed overpriced, incomplete, or the contractor backed out completely, and we were getting very frustrated with the whole process. Then we contacted Ron. When I first talked to him on the phone, I could immediately tell he was personable and a straight-shooter. He came to our house quickly and sent us an estimate that was impressively thorough and refreshingly reasonably priced. Afterwards we were debating upgrading to higher quality shingles (Owens-Corning Duration Driftwood), and Ron patiently and promptly addressed all of our questions and concerns. Once decided, his crew came out and quickly did the job right (1.5 days!). After the job was done, Ron came back for a final inspection and to answer any additional questions we had. Ron was flexible with the payment options and did not pressure us at all. In addition, many months later, Ron still made an effort to supply us with the necessary paperwork needed to receive mitigation and SC tax credits.

Prompt and worked well with my schedule. Professional and did good work. Would use again.

On 10/20/2014 I called Roofing by Atlantic Coast to set up an appointment to evaluate our roof for repair or replacement. I explained to Ron that our roof was 15 years old and had developed some leaks so we were open to open to either repair or replacement. Ron said that he wouldn't be able to come until Thursday so we made an appointment for that day. Ron never showed up for the appointment and he never called to reschedule or explain. Very unprofessional.
