+ -1 moreThere were a few minor issues, but they are good for their word and came back to take care of them. Every time I would call, the owned responded immediately. When I told him I was considering new garage doors, they said if I needed anything from them, they would come out free of cost to do touch ups, which I did not wind up needing but very much appreciated.
Description of Work: They did the permacoat on the entire exterior of my house.

Description of Work: I had new HURRICANE PROOF SLIDERS INSTALLED ON REAR PORCH-DECK. |CONTRACTOR FAILED TO MAINTAIN COMO WITH ME OVER A 4 MONTH WAITING PERIOD, |AND I HAD AN AWFUL TIME GETTING IN TOUCH WITH HIM WHEN WE WERE STARTING TO |FEEL THAT SOMETHING JUST WASN'T RIGHT. THINGS TURNED OUT OK, HOWEVER, AND THE |PRODUCT IS VERY NICE. Communication was my major concern after paying half up front. If you decide to order Hurricane proof glass, be ready to wait for quite awhile as there is a strong demand for it and manufactures are behind |in production.

+ -1 moreI had litigation against them that they lost. They are not who they say they are. They filed a false mechanic's lien against me illegally and it was thrown out. They basically frauded me on a paint job. It was a terrible paint job and it was supposed to be a lifetime guarantee and it wasn't. I am waiting on a ward from the judge.

+ 0 moreMy biggest concern was matching the new texture and color to that of the house. Another big concern....the work had to be done without our oversight because we live six hundred miles away. After reading an article in the "Charleston Magazine", I e-mailed Mike Shiver, owner of Perma Coat, and ask him for his assistance. He went out to the house, took pictures and sent them back to me with a full explanation of the work he believed needed to be done. At first I was reluctant to spend $1355 on a the repair. Mike worked with me and provided me with an outline of the work to be done and his rationale for each step. So, I signed on. Mike kept me fully informed of the work schedule and continuously updated me with photos of the work as it progressed. Additionally, he power washed the area between the two walls, including the garage, and primed, repaired, and painted the moulding. His workers did a fabulous job and cleaned up after the project was completed. My husband and I were present at the house over the Christmas holiday and watched the final process. I have to say that the job looked better than wonderful when it was finished! This was the first and only experience, in Charleston, where I received more from a job than I expected. We will use this company again and again.
Description of Work: We had two retaining walls in the front of our house that were in need of repair. Structurally, the walls were sound, but the textured coating was peeling and stained beyond our ability to repair. The walls had to be cleaned, sanded, & waterproofed before the textured coat was applied. The dirt behind the walls had to be excavated before the waterproof sealer and Tex*Cote was applied. Perma Coat made three trips to the house to make certain that the texture and color of the Tex*Cote matched the house. After the walls were readied, then they reaceived the TEX*COTE. The workers repaired, sanded, primed and painted the moulding around the garage doors. Once the work was done, the dirt was replaced and the driveway was cleaned/powerwashed. Mike met with us as his worker completed the job to make certain we were satisfied.
