Picking the door up took quite a while the line was out the door. The only lady that was helping was talking quite a bit to each person and expressing her political views. I saw one guy turn around and leave. By the time we got the door it was presented to us with no protective cardboard covering of the corners or even a cardboard box to slide the glass door in. I guess it was my fault because I didn’t demand that they package it properly to return it to me. I’m used to receiving quality service not demanding it. And I was definitely made to feel like my job was so low on the totem pole compared to the expensive jobs that were being done. It was a very scary and stressful ride home.

we had a shower built and was looking to have a glass door installed or our elder mother, who will be needing assistance. Well if we put a shower door there, it would be hard to help her in and out of the shower. we can just use a rod and shower curtain. That was something I didn't even think about and made a lot of sense.

The resultant piece was cut exactly to size and the edges were smooth and without any blemishes.

In my area, I was not able to find a company to fix my windows and just got one from my family. The price they let me pay, was not what they told me that I will pay before fixing my windows. That was unexplainable. They did a good job and provided to me some quality materials. They where really punctual.

I called and spoke with Lisa who took down all the pertinent info. THey were promt for the appointmetn and measured everything. It went as smooth as glass (heh - heh).

There were no problems from start to finish. Palmetto Glass did all of the shower enclosures in our house when it was first constructed and tried to fix the leak by caulking before suggesting that we get a new enclosure. Mike, the owner was great to deal with and the two installers were meticulous.

Matt is a very professional guy who specializes in shower enclosures and mirrors. He was recommended to me by a local contractor as well as Angie's List. I was not disappointed. He showed up on time, sent a reasonable estimate along with some sample enclosures via email, and started the work on schedule. I trusted him enough to let him enter and leave the house while no one was home. The job normally takes about 5 days since he won't measure the glass for the new enclosure until the old one is gone to insure accuracy, but he clearly laid out this process for me at the start. The final job was just perfect and completed on time. Communication with Matt during the project was very easy--he always responds to cell calls even on the weekends! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for first call shower/mirror work.
