Full crawl space encapsulation, beautiful work

Please, avoid this company. Since meeting with the sales rep on 01 Aug 2024, I've been stuck in a nightmare. To complete the job I paid 9k for 5 different visits from managers and installation crews were needed. Also, please be aware that this branch of the company did not when the torch award from the Better Business Bureau. The upstate branch did. They never mention the 600 Better Business Bureau complaints filed against them. I had to file a complaint against them because the field inspection manager wouldn't return my phone call (this was the 2nd time. The 1st time I had to make 5 calls to get him to inspection the work). I don't have enough character allowance to describe the 6 week experience so here are some highlights: The sales rep didn't know basic pricing information * The sales rep asked if I trusted him to lead 'this expedition' but after I signed the documents he was no longer part of the project * The sales rep didn't record any measurements or findings on the initial inspection. He also didn't check other areas of the house so I don't know how far reaching the problem is * The first install team put a support beam in the wrong location. * I didn't have control over lift amount. They do. My house still has a slope. * The permit specialist fear mongered and told me that if I didn't get a full encapsulation my situation would only get worse * The permit specialistim gave me incorrect information about the inspection process * The second install team also messed up the installing the beam. One beam was clearly crooked. * As a 'favor' because they constantly messed up they said they would run the vapor barrier up the wall. They didn't. They barely ran it half of the wall. No one told me that drilling would be involved so for four hours I heard loud drilling. As such I developed a migraine that caused me to logg off of work. * they did not 'settle the environment'. Meaning they did not fill in the holes. * they did not originally run the vapor barrier wall to wall. There were six inches gaps * they communicate by shouting and banging on the floor * while working under the house they failed to remember I could hear most of what they said. Like their discussion on honey mustard and the one time were quoting reels 'do I have the floor. Yes, you do'. * there is no organization. The general manager told me they would start at 10 am and that I wouldn't need any support beams. They started at 8:15 and installed 2 additional support beams *they entered my premises and went under my house without telling me they were there *I still don't have measurements regarding the work that was done. *without me knowing the GM listened on a conversation I thought I was having with only one person

We shopped around and settled on MVFS because we thought they offered best product. MVFS encapsulated our crawl space plus put in 2 sump pumps/drains. We had it done right before "Debby" and there were some issues due to the amount of rain we got. We called MVFS and they immediately came out and rectified the situation. We worked with Mark (sales), Joe, Dez, Zach and Darryl (encapsulation guys) and all were professional, kind, they explained things well and worked till we were satisfied, even work late nights on occasion. We would definitely recommend them.

The team of Will S,, Brady M., Louis F., and Darrell D., provided SUPERIOR service. They were prompt in arriving, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout our installation of spherical piers to stabilize our sinking foundation. Cleanup was excellent and pace of work was amazing. My ENTIRE experience from my first phone call to the completion of the job was without flaw or drama. I will definitely use them again, if necessary, and I will DEFINITELY recommend Mount Valley to anyone who needs any of their services. Special Kudos to Willâ s team!!

Matt who initially came out to check out our Crawlspace and the crew Tyler, KJ and Brandon were very professional. They kept us informed throughout the process and were on time every day. The crew worked hard and were courteous and respectful. I would highly recommend Mount Valley Foundation Services and would definitely use them again.

Our experience with Mt Valley Foundation was outstanding. Patrick E., the Ceritified Field Inspector, conducted a very thorough inspection of our crawlspace. Then he presented us with all of the details and photographs of his inspection. He spent an hour answering all of our questions and then presented us with our options for our sagging floors and foundation structural repair. His expertise was invaluable. The installation crew, Joe and Stephen, were prompt, courteous and very professional. Joe, called and texted us to let us know that they were arriving soon. Upon arrival, he posted the work permit and then discussed, in detail, including pictures, what they were about to do. After installing the steel beams and IntelliJack support system, our sagging floors and baseboards were returned to normal. When they were finished, they discussed what they had done and provided pictures of the completed work. Great job Joe and Stephen! We highly recommend Mt Valley Foundation in Charleston.

Very knowledgeable. They were able to assess what was best for my project and get the job done! Also knowledgeable about how to pull a permit with my local city hall to get the project done in a timely manner.

We had issues with one corner of our kitchen having over a 1à ¢à  à  drop. We also had water/mold collecting in the crawl space. We did our research and got several estimates and decided on Mountain Valley. Danny Snee was our Certified Field Inspector and he was very professional and knowledgable about our situation. We decided that a full encapsulation would solve our foundation problem. Danny was always available to take our calls and discuss scheduling and any concerns that we had. Tyler (Will) Williams (Foreman), KJ (Co-Foreman) and Brandon (Installer) did our encapsulation and were very professional and walked us through step by step on what they were doing. Their technical experience and professional was unprecedented. I would recommend this company and team to do any of my foundation work.

I was told that 3 people including a foreman would be coming -only 2 guys showed up. I work from home and I could hear them yelling while I was on a live video chat with my boss. There was a loud shaking noise & my wifi cut out. When I asked if they happen to have pulled a wire or something they immediately declined it and said they werenâ t even near any cords. I had to call spectrum who told me the internet cable was covered in dirt & ripped out of the wall. I missed 4 hours of work & had to pull 2 10 hour shifts to make up the time. Then, after â completingâ the job I went to go & check it out & they didnâ t finish before sending a payment request. My 30 foot drainage pipe was only 19 feet & they did not install the 4th side of the drainage system in my crawlspace. I immediately contacted a service representative & when I requested a different crew she became very rude, said she would need to call me back, and then just hung up on me. She never called me back so a couple days later I called again. The new rep said there was only a record of a service request from the initial sales rep I had been updating from the beginning. They sent someone out and when I asked how I couldâ ve only had a 19 foot instead of 30 foot pipe installed they said the team didnâ t read the notes clearly written out for instructions for my house. When I asked how they could miss a whole side of my house I got honestly I donâ t know Iâ ll have to ask them. He was unable to complete all of the work & said he would send out another crew. I then contacted the general manager & after sobbing on the phone she offered $500 off & no explanation on how it couldâ ve happened. I requested more & she said she would speak with her boss and call me back & as you could guess never did. I called again a couple days later and another manager offered 10% off which I accepted because at that point I was tired of this company. I had a great experience with the new crew and when I asked the foreman how it couldâ ve of happened he said they simply didnâ t do their jobs. The sales rep had told me from the beginning they get a bonus if they finish a job ahead of schedule. This company will treat you like garbage & will not ensure that you are treated with professionalism or that the integrity of your home matters at all. I am a 23 yr old female first time home buyer and I feel entirely taken advantage of. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE.

Mark Lemenager was very knowledgeable. He was our initial inspector, and he provided us with thorough, insightful information regarding our foundation issues. Darryl, David, and the rest of the work crew were very professional and accommodating. They even came by the next day to inspect the flooring to make sure everything was level. We were highly impressed by them.

Joseph Willis and Riley Welch both did a great job. They both were knowledgeable about the product they were using and polite. The area was clean when they finish the service.

The salesman made promises about the results that would be achieved by concrete lifting. When the promises were not fulfilled, the company representative referred to the contract wherein it states their work may not be perfect and that concrete grinding might be necessary to achieve level surfaces. The concrete lifting I wanted (and was promised)was not able to be done by this company. I had to allow the technician to grind my concrete level. The ground out area is now an eyesore. I am unsure of the future integrity of this area, as well. If the salesman makes any promises to you about what results will be achieved, GET IT IN WRITING. If your leveling problem can be fixed by grinding, I recommend you do that because that is probably what you will wind up with anyway with this company. Plus your repair cost will be many thousands of dollars cheaper! In addition the drill they used to make holes in my concrete for the lifting attempt leaked oil or some other substance onto my driveway and front walkway. I tried to pressure wash the stains and used a degreaser to try to get them out. They are permanent and unsightly. The company representative said they try not to do that (stain your concrete) but that they could try, you guessed it, grinding the stains out! Be very careful in your dealings with this company if you decide to hire them.

Will and Darryl went above and beyond to explain everything and fix anything they could. I had a large project, and for the money I spent, by the time they were done I knew it was well worth it. They involved me in every aspect of this project and were experts in their craft, to say the least. If you get Darryl and Will, you are in good hands. Best of luck, fellas, and thanks for everything. PS: During this project my cat went missing and we thought she went in the hole under the carport. We could not find her anywhere and were scared we were going to seal her in when we filled the hole. The guys halted that portion of the project for a few hours until we finally found her.

A great team of four worked in my crawl space to correct an error made when the house was built. My flooring is now stable and I am very satisfied. Thank you Andy Williams, Joe Werder, Will Soullier and Danny Goings; you all deserve a 10! Actually, an 11 goes to the youngest member of the team for locating my missing iPad!!! Will and Darryl are The A team. They are very knowledgeable, polite, respectable, and professional. I hope I donâ  t have to have more foundation repairs done, but if I do Will and Darryl will be my go to team.

Customer service was great leading up to the service, but quality of work was subpar. The lead was very cool to work with. Very disappointed with quality of concrete finish. Iâ ll have try to remove splattered concrete against vinyl siding; had to remove form boards myself; inconsistent finish across recently pour concrete. Though I am enjoying my new patio space, as it does does provide the functionality I was hoping for, I am not satisfied with quality of work. Future customers should avoid the mistake I made; ensure quality of work prior to payment in full.

thomas leffler did a great job raising a section of our pool deck that had sunk on the back side and raised up on the pool side pulling it away from the time surroundâ ¦.really amazing to watch the process

Great team of guys showed up to do my work once a plan was put in place. Great communication and great guys that cared about the job they were doing and my satisfaction.

The crew that came out to do the work A++. Damien and David went over and above what I expected and their supervisor called to ensure I was satisfied with the work. The sales person, on the other hand, was professional and willing to assist, however, once the ink dried, I found I was not as important. Harrison left me with unanswered questions regarding my scope of work discussed v/s what was actually scheduled, which may explain why there seems to still be possible issues with the floors in my home. I never did receive the call from his supervisor as I was told I would get . . . hmm

Highly recommend Mount Valley Foundation. Had to have 20 helical piers installed due to foundation issues at my Dad's house. Everyone from office staff, assessment, and team (Kenny, Blake and Thomas) working at the house were knowledgeable and professional. They did an outstanding job. They explained what they were doing and answered any questions I had.
