i contacted Moore Electric based on other Angie's list reviews for a quote for our new home that it's being built. I texted and he responded the same day. I emailed the plans and had to follow up few days later. He met at our current house and we discussed the plans. He told us that he was going to give us a quote the following Monday. A week went by and nothing. I texted and emailed him and got no response. After few more days, I called him and left him a voicemail and that day we got a quote With a reasonable price. I emailed him since I mentioned to him before that we would like to see one of his current projects before we hire him. No response. I waited another week and called him he answered his phone and said that something went wrong with the project he was working on but that next week he was staring a new construction in Mt. P. I told him to tell us hen he was working on the Mt. P house for us to swing by to see his work. He agreed. A week went by and nothing. I texted him and called him and left him a voicemail. That was like 3 weeks ago. I'm tired of waisting my time waiting for response. Off to find another electrical contractor.

I had this repair done as a home owner's warranty service through American Home Shield. Art was great. He showed up early and got right to work. It was a tricky problem because the previous home owner had installed and wired four connected switches without proper knowledge, skill, or experience. Only two of the four switches were usable because the other two disengaged power to the light and all other switches. In addition to the incorrect wiring, one of the switches was not functioning which through a monkey wrench into the puzzle. Art replaced this bad switch. Art figured out the puzzle quickly and made the repairs. He is very professional, competent, and personable I will call him in the future for all of my electrical work. Thanks, Art. I highly recommend Art for any and all electrical services.

Art Moore has been our electrician for over a year since we purchased a home in historical downtown Charleston. Frankly, he is one of the reasons we can own a home such as this and feel confident that we have a trustworthy and reliable electrical contractor who works hard to accommodate us on sometimes very short notice. He recently completed a more major job as described above and we were as always more than satisfied with both his work and his fair price. We highly recommend Moore's Electrical Services.

I love it when I find a trustworthy and reliable local contractor who is working hard to support his family. I would call Mr. Moore anytime I have a need for electrical work. I was also impressed by his attention to safety, he took the time to properly secure a ladder before he climbed it. He didn't take a short cut and that shows me that he takes his work seriously and will make sure that my house is safe when he leaves.

I had an air conditioner malfunction. Just blew hot. Called A/C company and they diagnosed a bad switch. Part had to be ordered which resulted in a two day wait. It's August in Charleston, need I say more? After the new part was installed, the technician determined that there was a problem with the wiring. I called Moore's Electrical, and was so fortunate. He was able to come to my house within 3 hours!! Indeed, the breaker was bad and there was a short in the wiring. He replaced the damaged wiring and breaker. What can I say, the house is livable once again! I am go grateful to Moores for getting here so quickly.
