Steven and his crew saved us from construction purgatory. After we had a dishwasher leak, the floors under our kitchen island were soaked and needed replacing - a prior company came and gutted our kitchen (no island, no sink, no dishwasher, no flooring), then ghosted us for the rebuild. After months desperately looking for someone to fix our kitchen, thankfully a neighbor recommended me to Steven. Steven immediately jumped to action and had my floors installed within a week or two - we could finally stop tripping over jagged wood / staples! He guided me on how to order my cabinets so we would receive the right products (and saved us money in the process). He was communicative as we awaited their delivery, and once they were in he had his guys install them beautifully, and finish our island better than new. I am so grateful every day to have been connected with him. Steven even introduced us to the air switch for our garbage disposal - a modification that I've been loving! I will absolutely work with him and Michaels Construction again in the future, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a contractor they can actually rely on.

Total kitchen reconstruction down to sand . Rebuilt floor joist, sill, walls. Great experienced crew of carpenters , sheetrock, painters, electricians. Super responsive subs for oak flooring and cabinets and counter tops. Good communication and workmanship

Steven kept in touch, he was on time and completed the project in less time than expected. I was impressed with the quality of the work he put in and I feel he did a much better job than any other general contractor would have done. I would absolutely hire him again. He cares about doing a quality job and that makes a huge difference to the homeowner.

They showed up everyday about 7:00 am. Steven the owner checked in with me daily and kept me informed on all problems, changes etc. He kept me updated on the budget and let me know who would be at my home to do what and when. All phone calls or texts were returned within a couple hours. The communication was wonderful. His pricing was very competitive for our area. I have already referred him to my neighbors for work needed.

Steve (of Steve Michaels Construction) was the general contractor on a virtual rebuild of our home due to extensive termite damage--new siding, roof, windows, flooring, kitchen, bath.. We love the final product. His in-house team went above and beyond to make sure the finishes were high-qualityâ even in many cases doing more than I had asked or expected. Steve is also consistently responsive in answering phone calls and coming out to address issues. In addition, it is always a good sign when a contractor has long-term employees and relationships with sub-contractors.

we hired this company to fix a botched up job by "contract exteriors". now we have the beautiful deck we should have had to begin with,done at a reasonable price and efficiently.

Michaels Construction did an amazing job when we had to replace the deck/porch or our home. Very professional and excellent work. I was out of town part of the time and Steven took the time to send pictures of the progress. They have completed other smaller jobs for me as well and I have never been disappointed in their work or willingness to help out in a pinch.

Recommend without reservations, they were on-time, within budget, very clean and methodical. Very responsive to calls and emails, a pleasure to deal with. Sub-contractors were all very professional and skilled. We had bathrooms redone, screen-porch renewed, complete interior/exterior paint, new built-in cabinets and bookshelves, french-doors and transom and new gas-logs installed with a flue to the roof (previous fire did not vent).
