I generally use Jon when I can for most of my plumbing work. He is always busy. He is very professional, very reliable, does great work, and get him if you can because he is very busy.

Mr Barrow was the nicest person you'll ever meet. Came the very next morning after calling him late the day before. He was very thorough in getting the job completed and checked. He will be my go to plumber for any future plumbing needs.

He was absolutely excellent. He did exactly what I wanted him to do, quickly, reasonably priced and I was very happy with him. This is the second time I used him and that was to reinstall what he took out the previous time. He charged me $85 on the first trip to take everything out and $42 to put everything installed, all the equipment and everything else on a toilet and a pedestal itself. Everything was all okay. He is very conscientious a very good guy.

I cannot say enough about John and his abilities. Out of service provider I've ever used - for any trade, including my own - he has the highest level of execution, detailed planning, and professionalism I've ever seen. He is also the only person I've seen leave a work space cleaner than when he started. From start to finish, its simply a pleasant experience working with him. He explains the problem to you, explains how he's going to fix it, exactly what it will cost, and even offers to show you his receipts for parts. I cannot recommend him enough. As long as John is in business, I will never use anyone else for plumbing. I understand he also does large projects and remodeling as well, and hope to engage his services for this in the future.

Jon arrived on time, provided same day service, Very competent vs. one Angie's list plumber. He had all the right tools and some I did not know existed. Exhibited the best professionalism I have experienced in the trades in the Charleston area. We purchased the bathroom tub and shower trim kit, the 4and quot;faucet. We called Jon Barrows Plumbing in the morning and he responded that afternoon the same day. In addition we purchased the tub adjustable trip lever kit to be installed. He replaced the existing fixtures that were the same brand as the new ones. We called several plumbers for the effort and Jon Barrows Plumbing was the most responsive. He examined the tasks and the environment and provided a quote. We accepted the quote and began the effort. It was a pleasure to observe his systematic task performance. he covered the floor with a cover, cleaned up the debris as the job progressed and left the bathroom free of all debris. We plan to use Jon for our next plumbing effort.

We have used Jon for a couple of plumbing issues in our home. Most of the lines were running off the wrong water supply (toilet ran on hot water, dishwasher ran on cold, etc). We had him out to fix a leak, and swap the water lines for the toilet last month. Then we had a dishwasher problem that he came to take a look at, he let us know that it needed an appliance repair person, and didn't charge us for the visit. The dishwasher needed to be replaced, but we later found out that the water line for the dishwasher was also incorrect, and Jon came out on short notice over a holiday weekend to fix it. His price is very competitive and we are glad to refer him to other people.

He calls himself the British plumber and he is actually British. Some friends recommended him and the insurance covered it. The service was excellent. We almost used him again to change some fixtures. He came and looked at it and didn't charge us to come out but we decided not to do it.
