+ -1 moreThis is the 4th time we have hired Joshua of Homesmith to work on our house. He did such great work before on smaller jobs that I contacted him again for this big project of building a wellhouse. He was quick to respond on providing an estimate, very willing to do whatever our wish list included, and the finished project exceeded even my high expectations. He is just terrific to work with, stays within his estimate (which was lower than someone else I contacted), brings his own materials as needed, thinks of great solutions to any problems that come up, and provides truly top quality work. We very highly recommend him and are already planning to hire him again.
Description of Work: We needed a wellhouse built that met several requirements, and it was a quite a list we provided: 1) Very attractive wellhouse since it is the first thing you see at the end of the driveway as you enter the property. 2) Covered in vinyl siding and architectural roofing materials to match the house. 3) Pad elevated another 3 inches by pouring an additional solid concrete pad 4x4 feet on which to build the wellhouse and prevent flooding. 4) All external materials to be essentially maintenance free. 5) A plumbing pipe extended off the well to the exterior of the wellhouse to provide a much-needed front yard spigot. 6) An attractive door that would not be breached by animals or any crawling critters. 7) Insulated to protect against cold and moisture. 8) Wellhouse large enough and tall enough for a 6 ft plus large man to easily service the well. 9) Basically, a highly functional, beautiful wellhouse that matched the main house. And thanks to Joshua of Homesmith, we got it all and more!

I called the next day when I smelled burning rubber and saw box above water heater smoking. He came that day to replace it, showing me the worn wires and melting. Joshua not only knew exactly what parts we needed (we didn't) and bought them for us and did everything on our list so perfectly and quickly we were amazed! We will definitely hire him again.
