Poor workmanship on new house and hard to get things fixed

We were first time home-buyers with a growing family and we had been renting for the past 5 years. We made the decision to buy a home. But we needed to save up more funds for a down payment and thus decided to build a home. We were very inexperienced with the process but Harbor Homes made it very easy. At the time we were looking at a particular subdivision but the Property Manager informed us about another subdivision that was just starting out and that they were offering some perks. The perks were very attractive and so was the neighborhood. So we decided to go with the new neighborhood. During the entire building process, communication was excellent by all parties involved from Property Manager, Project Manager and Closing Specialist. The week of closing was a bit hectic with some loose ends to tie up and some mistakes. One mistake in particular was caught by us and Harbor Homes gave us some extras with the house to compensate for a change we weren't informed of. During the home inspection, the inspector couldn't find any major issues and he said he usually finds a couple of them with new builds. But none with Harbor Homes. They build quality products. Overall we're pleased with it and the entire process with Harbor Homes. If we decide to move or build again, it will be with Harbor Homes. We definitely recommend it.
