Looks like a brand new floor! I was thrilled with the service! Will definitely use Ben again.

The company took my money over Angie's List and then never called. Not one single phone call at all. Now I'm having a hard time getting anyone to refund my money.

Normally the proprietor would have supervised/performed the job himself. He was injured at that time so employees did the job unsupervised. When applying the second polyurethane coat they missed many spots/areas. The owner readily agreed to redo the project. We all make mistakes; I gave this vendor high grades because he corrected the problem without hesitation.

They were the most professional crew I've ever seen. Their work was astonishing; my floors looked brand new when they were finished. I'm thankful to Angie's List for listing this great company!

We had just moved into a home and foyer hardwood was a little scarred with the moving in and out. We took a chance on Green Floor Clean and it was the best $99 spent. Sadly we found out that we had engineered hardwood and not true hardwood, but that it would tolerate one good re-surfacing. Ben ( the owner ) came out - evaluated and offered suggestions and went over his process for the resurfacing. It has never looked better. He was on time - constantly in communication with us to ensure that we were satisfied with the job... We would definitely recommend Ben / Green Floor Clean.

Amazing! I wasn't done moving the furniture when he arrived, but he was incredibly patient. I left town for 5 days, which gave the coating lots of time to cure before anyone walked on it. I came home to a beautiful, sparkling, shiny, clean floor. He went above and beyond! I am so pleased!

First, they did a good job cleaning the carpet. 1 room that the carpet is 13 months old. Took a lot of contact to get in touch with and set up a time to do an estimate and then 2 weeks to get an appointment. 2 weeks isn't a big deal, busy is good, but the initial contact back and forth was annoying. Had it not ended up how it did, I would let that go. I met Ben at my home and went over the areas of concern. The area is not in great shape from the previous owner's pets and I was not expecting a miracle. I asked him if it would improve and he assured me it would. I said that if it were just going to cover up the problem, I'd rather not move forward. He said it would be much better and sold me on an additional coat of polyurethane for durability. I was not home at any part of the process. I received a text in the evening saying he hoped i was happy and not to walk on the floor and it would be an additional $150 to move the furniture back where it was. When I came home, the floors were dull. The floors ARE dull and there is dirt and dog hair in the coating. Not to mention no scratches were removed or even buffed out. It took me and my 11 year old 20 minutes to move the furniture back. $150?!? The floor looks worse than before at a glance because it has this dull sheen on it. I replied to his text and explained my discontent and received no response. Not that I really wanted or needed one. I am a small business owner myself and I take reviews very personal. I have advertised on living social and Angie's list so I can relate to his position however, I don't do crappy work and I don't up sell, over promise, and under deliver. Ben runs these deals non stop on Living Social and Angie ' s list. If you're running these deals constantly and giving 50% off, how could you stay in business??? You can't. Unless you are over charging and not truly giving a deal. Which is the case. The "deal" constantly changes from 150sqft to 250sqft for the SAME price and a $175 value to a $300 value for the same square footage. If it were truthful, it wouldn't fluctuate. BOTTOM LINE: Ben is a hack... yes, a hack. I say that because he is dishonest and survives off running "deals". This service is garbage, it is not worth a dime in my opinion. If he stuck to cleaning carpets, we would all be better off. Pictures below illustrate an area that was "Resurfaced" and an area that was not. Hard to tell, but huge difference in how dull it is in person. Also, you can see the dog hair AND the surface scratches that should have come out.

It looked good at first, but upon a closer look, dog hair was embedded into the finish. The provider put a large fan in the family room to blow air over the floor to help it dry faster, but it also blew any dust and some dog hair that stuck to the finish. He came back and sanded that off and recoated, without the fan this time. I asked him to leave some finish for places like under the frig, that I would do later after that be he advised me not to bother. When we pulled out the frig to clean, and pushed it back in, the line showed, but he came back and added some finish there. My biggest issue is that in traffic areas, the finish is already wearing off and losing its shine rapidly, an it's only been 6 months. I only clean it with the Bona cleaner that was recommended, not harsher products. I thought the product used to apply the finish was from Bona, but I could not find it on their site, so I'm not sure what it was, but whatever it was, it sure didn't last. In front of one of the cabinets it's completely gone. This is a small kitchen, only around 12 x 12, and it has cabinets on two sides reducing the floor space, and a large island reducing it much more; it's like an island with four little 36 inch hallways around it; not much floor at all, and the home is occupied by two retired adults so it isn't getting a lot of traffic or abuse. I'm not blaming the provider as he went over and above to try and get it right, but whatever the product used was, it didn't work for this oak floor. ( Should also mention that the previous owners put the floor in around the spring of 2013, so it isn't an old floor. They put it down as-is and added no finish so it was a pristine, previously un-sanded and unfinished floor.)

My experience was so-so. I got my money’s worth, but the way he advertised his service was not as good as a service I was expecting to get. He was out there probably after a few days after I purchased the Big Deal to give me an estimate for the entire job because that purchase for the Deal was basically for a limited size of the floor and I had a bigger job. So, he came out there. There were additional charges to the Big Deal purchase price because I think the limit on the Deal was one coat for 250 square-feet and I had about 400 square-feet and I needed two coats. He was very easy to work with and very personable. Generally, he was pretty prompt. He got caught in traffic a couple times. He did have to come back out and do some repairs. He called and refurbished me up, but it is really refinishing. We expected it to be a different kind of job than what we had done. In the end, what I wanted would have cost me a lot more money. So, I got what I paid for. The floors look pretty good. The problems we were having with it are now all sealed back up again. If someone would ask about him, I would tell them to make sure that the guy brings what he is going to do in writing. He showed up without his notes and he believed me. He took my word for it so it did not become a problem, although, I had to keep reminding him to do things. It is just him that came. I would not use him again in the future.

The carpet has had dogs visiting and kids with dripping popsicles, so there were many stains.The rugs came out like new and were soft again under my feet! All the stains were gone! Polite, quiet and efficient, my rugs were clean before I knew it! Highly Recommend Green Clean LLC.

It went really well. There was one technician and he took around 4 hours total: two hours initially, then two additional hours after the floor dried. He went above and beyond, moved furniture, and the cleanup was great. The professionalism and overall experience was excellent.

While he did work very hard, he missed a few spots with the stain. I called him to let him know, and he said he would be back the following Monday. I never heard from him again.

Ben Green, owner of a Fabulous Floors franchise, apparently did not know what he was doing! Something went seriously wrong, and two floorboards in the foyer were left a totally different and darker color than the other floorboards nearby. To put it mildly, Ben was having a "fit", saying that now he'd have to bring a crew in to refinish the whole area - all at his expense, because he knew that this was his mistake. Over and over he said that I shouldn't worry- he'd make good on it and repair it at no cost to me. But he was on another job the following week, and I'd just have to be patient until he could get back again with his crew. Expecting that he would be available during April 7th week, I called him, only to find out that he was still finishing up the other job. Big surprise! The following week, on April 16th, a stranger showed up at my door, stating that Ben Green had sent him to repair the floor. I called Ben, who confirmed that Jefferson "knew what to do". Well, he didn't! He made it look even worse! I sent Ben pictures of this second debacle; Ben's response was that he would send over Jim Case, the guy who gets subs for him. Jim would "figure out a plan of action. " Well, as Jim walked in the door on April 24th, I heard a very loud "GOOD LORD!!!" exclamation. "WHAT did he do???!!" Beats me! After looking in both rooms, Mr. Case left, commenting that Ben was just inexperienced, and that after he consulted with Ben, they would get back to me. You guessed it - I never heard another word! Ben had earlier told me that he would be available as of April 28th. Called him that day, and found that his phone # had been disconnected. In an email response, Ben confirmed that he had lost the flooring franchise, and now he was unemployed, unlicensed, uninsured AND unable to help me out! OK folks, now I call in some other flooring people to offer advice as to next steps. "WHAT DID HE DO?" "I NEVER SAW ANYTHING LIKE IT!" "Trouble is, we can't just refinish a few boards here & there - your whole first floor will have to be refinished now, or it will look terrible!" Upshot: I'm worn out, and out $7,000! The floor will have to wait; the house sale will have to wait. Meanwhile, don't go near this fellow for anything! As proof, check out the address that he uses for his Green Referral Network business - turns out, it's the Bottle Liquor store! Does that say it all ????

When the service came out to visit our home, we specifically showed the rep our concern -- visibly light areas where the color had been worn off over the years and said that we wanted those areas to match the rest of the floor. The rep told us that could be done as the floor was not warped or buckled, but that he would recommend a second coat for an additional $79 (or so). We agreed. When the rep showed up to do the work, the owner showed him a can of stain to make sure the right color was put down on the light spots. No problem matching the rest, the owner was told. When the work was partly finished (after the first coat), the owner noted to the rep that the light spots we had wanted to be matched to the rest of the floor were still light, to which the rep replied that the second coat would make them darker. Nope. The light spots look as light as they did before the work, but now have two coats of something sealing in their visible lightness. Very disappointed that what we specifically asked for was not provided.

He did a terrific job and we are very satisfied with the results.

Mr. Green did a fabulous job and was so easy to work with. He adapted to our schedule and it was the difference between being able to have the job done and postponing forever. The floors look amazing. And they are serious with their statement about there being no dust. It really is a very clean process. Mr. Green was polite, professional and efficient. My husband and I both work at home, and we hardly knew the work was being done. It was clean and quiet. We are most appreciative and wont' hesitate to have him come back and do the upstairs. We highly recommend Fabulous Floors of Charleston.

Mr. Greene cleaned the floors, placed down the coating and replaced the furniture all in a timely manner. He went overboard to accommodate our schedule. We are very happy with the results and would definitely use his company again.
