Guys did a great job, very professional and easy to work with. I got exactly what I wanted and was done right in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

Very responsive for initial quote though canceled at last minute for first meeting so I had to take off to meet again. Chalked it up to things happen. Very agreeable on all aspects and getting quote to me. He told me he would need half of money up front which was a red flag for me...but local guy, personable enough and seemed very responsive to texts and emails. Agreed to quote provided and tried to schedule job to coincide with closing on new home... Paid the money he needed and he stated his supplier was a Net-30 so he did not need it to get material but was just how he did business. He called 3-4 times as did his wife to see if we sent the money yet after telling them it would be sent from our bank direct. They cashed check....and then no communication at all for next two weeks. Week we are moving I end up having to reach out to his wife on facebook page as he will not respond to calls, voice mails, text messages or emails. Claims he never got them...so sent screen shots to prove my attempts. Finally get him to say it would be week after we close...still no confirmed date. Guys show up and have water bottles, lunch boxes and bags, and trash all over my yard and driveway. They park both of their vehicles in my driveway and block it...not offering to move when my wife or I come home from work. I wanted the fence done with 2-3 inches off ground all the way around and assumed gates would open inward for pedestrian to keep children and pets from pushing them open if they dont catch on occasion. The one in rear was installed opening outward so made request that remaining be done opening inward. I checked fence and topline was uneven down sides....some panels not straight...sloppy cuts on panels when they had to shorten them to fit remaining area in corners...very shoddy work. Told Jake and said he would handle it....the way it was handled was black paint to hide the exposed metal.... They finished a few days late as they ran out of material so instead of two days took almost a week. Walked fence once complete...still issues with cuts, screws connecting panels broken off and missing, gouges and scraps on panels, gates, ground pins, etc.....post twisted and sporadic heights around yard. Concrete was soft still so tapped a couple that were off a great deal. After no responses on issues....Jake wanted payment right away and my wife said we would after I had time to inspect fence. Talked with him on phone about problems and he said he would take care of scrapes and stuff with spray paint... Also asked about backfilling dirt on top of concrete since it is 4+ inches in some places below grade...He said he would have guys come out and backfill dirt, spray paint damage to metal finish, and he would also bring another ground pin to secure both of the drive through gates as there was only one installed. We paid him and he made notes in his phone about what we spoke on....and we have not heard a word from him or his staff and this Friday will be two weeks later. Frankly I am tired of trying to get answers from him. While the overall fence is acceptable (good, not great)...but for $7000 I expect communication, attention to detail, a crew that acts like they care about the quality of work, and a business owner that responds to questions and follows up as promised. Maybe he is counting on most people do one fence with a home and many years later forget and get someone else if they move and one is not already installed so he is not worried about repeat business. No matter the reason....his story of needing to pay his crew so needing final payment right away did not make sense if he material is Net-30 or Net-45....especially when I paid him half of the cost up front which would MORE THAN COVER the wages he is paying his crew. If did not know better would think he is over extended and is just a poor business person and poor project manager. Fence is acceptable other than now I have to touch up paint their damage, replace screws that are missing, install the ground pin for other drive gate and ignore the crooked posts. I would pay more money for a professional, responsive and quality crew/job in future before even considering Frontline Fencing. I cannot recommend Frontline unless you like paying up front for work that you dont know will be completed, no attention to detail from crew, no responses to any form of communication, and no follow-up to promises or repairs. If not for his wife, I would have canceled the contract and made claim to get my money back....her responsiveness was the ONLY reason I did not cancel job.

Hired to build a privacy fence in West Ashley... took weeks to get approval (not builders fault) now he doesn’t return calls. He took half the money up front, did deliver wood, which was put on grass which is now dead... we had to place wood in garage. I understand why contractors shouldn’t be paid up front.. we are out this money... he never call back and set up a job time after dozens of calls and texts. Very disappointed in this!

We had appointment on Monday May 22, at 9:30am which we arranged our time for. The owner no-showed and I didn't hear from him until a text appeared on Wednesday. So we rescheduled a meeting for 10:30am Friday May 26. At 8:00 Friday morning we get a text from him changing it to his "production manager", plus changing the time, because they can't make it by then. The person who came out seem totally on interested in making the sale and did a little more than take measurements. We were shown any literature or options for materials. Weird. Do companies like this not think how that looks to a prospective customer? If it's that hard to keep an appointment, and have the most basic communication skills, it leaves us wondering just how an install job might possibly go. Oh, by the way, we never got a quote. Unprofessional!! You decide for yourself.

A review two years late (my fault). Frontline Fencing did a wonderful job on my fence. I tore the old fence down myself (because I was able to and wanted to), and they came in the following day and started. The did a picket on the front and sides of the fence, and a privacy section along the rear of my property to keep snakes and such out from the marsh behind my property. Very professional, very clean. Since I'm moving in the near future, I will keep them in mind for a fence should I need one at the new property

Description of Work: Impossible to contact unless they are trying to sell a homeowner something or get paid. The workmanship was inferior. Trying to get them to return to take care of warranty issues is extremely difficult. I would never recommend this company, strongly disappointed.

We had a number of Fence Companies submit estimates. Frontline was about in the middle and we decided to use them due to reviews. Scheduling was difficult due to recent rain events and I had to insist they wait until the ground wasn't overly saturated in order to not damage the yard. It took 24 days to complete the fence from the day construction began. This was due to having them come back out twice to adjust gates and replace slats on one side of the house where they had left a 6-8 inch gap from the ground to the bottom of the fence. The workers hit our water line when setting posts although I don't fault them for this as the line was not mark by the utility company correctly. However, one of the workers attempted to fix the break (incorrectly) and after three hours I had to call in a plumber. The workers left the house without having us look at the fence to ensure it was to our satisfaction. At this point the gates were hard to open/close, and the above mentioned gap was left on one side which would have let our dogs get out easily. They also tracked mud and clay onto our patio and screen porch and did not leave it clean as they had found it. We also noticed they had damaged the concrete on the screen porch where their air compressor had been plugged in. They left 3 large gouges in our newly stained and sealed patio directly in front of the sliding glass door. I called Jake and he agreed to meet me to look over the items I wanted to discuss. When he arrived I showed him the gaps and he agreed to fix. I also asked him to have the large piles of dirt and clay left from the post holes removed that were left behind in the yard. He said he would speak with his crew about the concrete damage. Bottom line the gates and gaps were repaired to our satisfaction. He told me his crew denied damaging the concrete and offered no solution. His comment via email was " not really much I can do for any patio damage as these thing's happen during construction". My review would be: The fence is of good quality. It took what I consider a very long time from start to finish . I was unhappy with the customer service regarding clean up (still dirt and clay in my yard), and the damage done by the crew. I would not recommend them or use them again. There are too many options to get this type of service.

The crew arrived fairly early in the morning. They worked steadily until the entire fence was installed. They seemed professional and they were very friendly. The fence looks great and is exactly what we wanted. The only down side was trying to coordinate the fence installation with the pool installation. The weather also made things more difficult. In the end, it all worked out and everything looks great.
Description of Work: Jake from Frontline Fence came to our location and provided an estimate to fence in area where in ground pool would be installed. Once the pool concrete was poured, James and the crew arrived and installed the fence in about half-a-day.

We were satisfied with the end result which was shared backyard between myself and neighbor. The communication of getting the job started was frustrating at times. The job was performed when it was extremely hot and they were busy with other customers but showing up on a Friday at 11:00 am to start and quit two hours later was not professional. They did show up on Sunday to work on what they didn't get accomplished on Friday after I expressed dissatisfaction! Overall the service was a "B" and Communication "C-".

Was referred to Frontline Fencing from another parent at my son's school. We discussed how the business was locally owned and that she was happy with her new fence from them. I do my best to support locally owned businesses so they were the first company I contacted. Gave them a call and got a call back and meeting shortly after. Met him on a Friday, gave the original survey of our property and was told he'd get back to me the following week. He was very professional and I was very excited to hear back. Our property is on a tidal creek and I have 3 small kids, so I notified him that the fence would be for safety. Two weeks later I gave them a call and left a voice message asking if they had an estimate yet for the fence options we discussed. He replied with a text message stating he was very busy and would have an estimate later that week. Another 2 weeks later, still no word, so called again and left a message asking if they could just return the survey. Got a reply via text stating they'd leave it in the mailbox ; It's been 2 days and I sent another text just now asking if they were able to leave the survey yet. I understand that they are very busy and that's a good thing! However, more communication would have been greatly appreciated in addition to appropriate follow through. I'd be happy to touch base with them again when their schedule is lighter.
Description of Work: Came to the house, looked at land/property where the fence was going to be installed, borrowed the survey of the property.

They are very good. They have also done work for about 5 of my neighbors. They do really good work and are talented young people. All of my neighbors wanted to know who did my fence. I have recommended them to several people. They were the most reasonable on pricing from all the quotes that I got. They drew the plan out and made suggestions. They got the job done in a couple of days. They are also local to the Charleston area.
Description of Work: They installed and stained a wooden fence in my backyard.
