My wife and I live 500 miles from the house (we inherited it when a family member passed away) so we needed someone we could trust to manage the restoration project for us. We found Freeman Repair and Remodeling LLC on Angie's List (along with others). Freeman Repair and Remodeling was very competitive price wise and when we walked through the house for him to scope the job, we could tell that Mr. Freeman had his customer's interests at heart. We decided to hire Freeman Remodeling and Repair and we have not regretted it for one moment. Mr. Derek Freeman is the ultimate professional. He did an excellent job of managing the project for us. He and his personnel did a superb job on everything they touched. Mr. Freeman provided helpful recommendations on how best to proceed on various facets of the project. He helped us find ways to save some money and yet achieve the result we wanted. When any difficulties were encountered, Mr. Freeman and I were able to discuss the matter openly and frankly and arrive at mutually agreeable solutions. Mr. Freeman takes pride in his workmanship and it showed throughout the project. I would highly recommend Freeman Repair and Remodeling to anyone without hesitation. I intend to use the services of Freeman Repair and Remodeling on future projects.

It went quite well overall. They came when they said they would and completed the job within a week. There were a few spots that needed retouching, and they came back and did that. They were very neat. They also helped me choose the colors. They also repaired a few spots where the seams in the drywall were coming loose. They patched nail holes and removed all wall switchplates before painting. They moved all furniture away from the walls and replaced after painting. I was quite pleased with the results.

Freeman's service was very professional. He performed all of the agreed upon tasks on time and on cost. We received four bids for this painting project. Freeman's bid was competitive, mid range among three other bids. He was prompt, started on time and finished the work in about 4 days. In addition Mr. Freeman and his assistant moved and covered the furniture and repaired cracks and filled nail holes in the walls. Freeman provided leftover paint upon completion of the job. He also gave us the color specifications for the paint, so that we could purchase additional paint, for future needs. Freeman returned several months after the job was completed to repair walls and a ceiling that were damaged by a furniture delivery service. In all, I can recommend Freeman as an excellent painting contractor. He uses only top quality paint and self-performs most of the work. His assistant is also an excellent worker. We are very happy with the results of this painting contract.
