The contractor did not install our Trex decking utilizing the specifications required by Trex. 2 years later, our boards are warping and pulling apart in numerous areas. Our balisters were cut too short and are falling out. We have tried to have John rectify the situation with no resolution. We have been in constant contact with him on this issue since May 2024. It is now August and he has not tried to correct the poor workmanship.

John came, inspected under our deck, discussed what was needed to support a new hot tub and correct the damage done by our old hot tub. He was meticulous , honest and showed pride in his workmanship. Our new deck looks great, is straight and strong and ready for a new hot tub

We solicited quotes from 3 vendors. We chose Deaville Roofing because his price was in-line with others and, more importantly, he offered to be available when the Insurance adjuster came and to assist us with any roofing related questions that may arise during the visit. As homeowners who have only submitted one other insurance claim in a 25 year period, this was an offer we couldn't refuse. Mr. Deaville did facilitate communications with our insurance adjuster, as promised. In addition, his knowledge of the insurance process was very helpful. HIs company also did an excellent and swift job with the roof, including protecting my plants and cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend his company for your roofing needs.

Did not respond initially to the request. Called back finally after I called several times and left voicemails. Gave me a time but did not show up. I left another message and he said they are very busy and he will come the next day and did not show again!! At least they should have the courtesy of informing customers when they are not going to show. Very unprofessional.

no show, reschedule, no show, reschedule, no show - and never a call back. Called a different roofer, he was there within hours, did the repair for $150 LESS than Deaville quoted. He - NOT Deaville - will be my roofing contractor this fall when i install a new roof.

Replied within minutes of asking for quote. Came to my home within a few hours. Inspected my whole roof, made minor repair, and corrected other small problems for a very reasonable fee.

Excellent! Another roofing contractor gave me an estimate of $1750 for what appeared to be cosmetic improvements while not addressing the area of the leak (I don't believe leaks go sideways!). John Deaville took five minutes to find the leak and it's cause, a few minutes to make the minor repair, and did not charge me. When I asked him about the need for a roof replacement, he assured me that there was still plenty of life in my current roof, that it was in excellent shape. I would highly recommend giving John a call for any roofing and gutter needs :-)

Caveat - I am not that guy who reviews anything on the net. This was special though - John Deaville the owner of company came out the end of the same day! He went on roof w/ me and inspected it, then advised me that while he would love to sell me a new roof, the existing roof appeared to have plenty of life left. He then spent 15m with me looking for potential problems in the vicinity of the leak. We were able to find where a hidden truculent frame nail had backed out through the tar paper and shingle below (obvious leak point). He used his flashing caulk to solve the problem. I gladly offered to pay him for his time, but he refused. The leak is fixed and it is very evident exactly who I will go with when the time comes for a new roof. One word - "Incredible"! Instantly my "Faith in Humanity" meter gauge boinged back up a few notches from below the "E" mark.

John came out to inspect our sunroom roof that was leaking. He showed up promptly on Saturday morning with just one day notice. He was very professional and honest. He recognized the issue quickly and was able to assist same day in correcting it without having to replace the whole roof. We weren’t charged at all for his inspection and assistance. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fair and honest opinion on there roof. When this roof eventually fails, I will be contacting him again. Highly recommended.

I could not be happier with my decision to hire Deaville Roofing and Construction. Very Professional fair price and excellent work.

John was very knowledgeable, punctual and professional. He verified the roof in case other shingles were loose and explained the type of work he performed. Will definitely use their services again.
