Description of Work: Billed by property manager for work done on a rental. We felt the work was overpriced for parts and service. No ability with multiple phone calls and letters/email to resolve with customer service.

Description of Work: Freezer worked - refrigerator didn't. Called Aviv and they sent someone out that day. Refrigerator electronics panel needed replacing which involved taking the freezer apart to be able to get to the panel. Not only did they replace the panel efficiently, but also cleaned my freezed! They even wiped out the bottom where some defrosting had taken place and left sticky residue. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We have a dryer (Amana) that has been making loud squealing sounds while drying clothes. The noise was so loud over the past few days that we figured the dryer was on it's last legs. I called Aviv to see what it would cost to have someone look at the problem and give us an estimate. The cost for a visit was $70 and we figured if we could have it fixed (it's relatively new) for less than $300 as opposed to replacing at $500 we would be ahead of the game. John, arrived on time, actually a little early, and within about an hour had the machine fixed for about $250 including the service call. Very professional and courteous, we will use them again for all appliance repairs.

Description of Work: I have this company on my "speed dial". They were very prompt and professional. I was stunned when the repairman showed me how to easily fix the problem myself if it came up again. 2-weeks prior I had another company fix the same problem who may a production out of the repair and charged me over $200. If you need appliance repairs look no further!

Description of Work: Replacement of a door seal on a Whirlpool washer. I paid $!30.00 on the initial visit which included an $80.00 service call charge to determine the nature of the problem and to provide a quote for the repair. I was given the total cost of repair which was $442.49. This was on 2/6/12 and I later called a Whirlpool Parts Supplier and requested a quote on the specific seal for my washer. The price was $138,99 + $18.99 Shipping. On 2/13/12 the seal was installed in less than 35 minutes and I paid a balance of $288.01 + 24.48 Sales tax. Total cost of the replacement $442.49. This was a $900.00 front load washer purchesed new in July of 2008. ( Doesnt say much for the design). I think the Aviv service was good but their repair charge was way out of line. It seems their labor charge for 35 minutes has to be well above $200.00.
