Aviv had a technician that was available after he finished his current repair, and he called a few minutes later and said he was on the way. He was there in less than 20 minutes. Rick Hughes was very professional and informative. He gave us a lot of details about the spin cycle issue and our options for repair. He was extremely knowledgeable and honest with his recommendations.

Well, washer is still ok. But my frig is leaking/not cooling right so I bought their annual service contract for a reasonable $150 to service to all my appliances. They are coming out today and will give a 90 day warranty on any repairs whereas GE repair will only give a 30 day warranty. So we picked AVIV now as our go to repair source!

In a world where the words integrity and customer service seem to have vanished, this is not the case for Aviv Service. I have used them since we returned to the Charleston area in 2007. I cannot believe how professional, courteous, and honest this company is. There just are not words for how glad I am to know that when I need them, they are there. And Rick is absolutely outstanding! If anyone has a need for appliance service, they really should call Aviv first. You'll not be disappointed.

Rick was great. Very professional and inspired confidence. Honest. Good at teacching proper care and use of machine and advice on what to expect.

They are very responsive, I called them yesterday and they could have had someone out the same day but I was not available so they came first thing this morning. They call ahead to let you know when they are coming and inform you of the service call fee ahead of time which I found reasonable. I have used them before and the technicians are always professional, friendly and do a great job. The technician had to order a part to do the repair so he will come back once the part arrives to complete the repair. I will continue to use them for future work.

Aviv service was able to send someone out the day that I called. There is a service charge for the initial visit but I didn't mind due to the fact that my dishwasher was not working at all. Diagnostics were done in a timely, professional manner. Parts were ordered and they called back the same week to schedule an appointment to repair the dishwasher. The initial visit, parts and repair were all done in the same week! The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely use Aviv Service when I am in need of another appliance repair. Their service was outstanding!

On 12/23/2014 I realized that from one load of wash to the next, there was no heat in the dryer. I called 8:45 a.m. on 12/24/2014 thinking I would be leaving a message and making an appointment for after Christmas, but the lady assured me they were working Christmas Eve and a repairman would be out by 11:00 a.m. Indeed he was. Rick did a fabulous job. He not only replaced the broken element...yes a repair company with the parts ON the truck, yay!!!! He also took the whole machine apart to check for any other problems and cleaned the whole thing out so it would be safe. There was lint where I didn't know lint could go. He even checked the vent outside to make sure it was functioning properly. He explained some things to me and answered all my questions. He was fabulous with my dogs and very sweet to one who broke through the gate to give him kisses. I had used Aviv Services Today before for a Samsung front loading washer repair. That encounter was just as great as this one. I will definitely call them for all of my appliance repairs.

Some features of my two-year old Kenmore electric range were not working. He determined it was a manufacturing defect but repair would cost $440. He suggested we wait for a sale and buy a new one for $500.

Fast, friendly and fixed! Our bottom drawer freezer was leaking water onto our floor periodically. Called and Aviv had someone out here really fast. Service man was very friendly and had it repaired quickly. Definitely keeping their number around for future needs!

Aviv was fantastic! I called and they answered promptly. They were able to schedule me within 24 hours to come look at the repair. Now, the basic charge for something nit picky like a repair is tough as a property owner, but when Aviv got there and told me it was a small fix and that they wouldnt charge for the minor part that would fix it, I was thrilled! I anticpated that I would have someone tell me to get a new washer or there was this big problem that would cost more... not the case. The technicians honesty and consideration of the cost were highly noticed and appreciated. The technician called me twice before going to my condo, 1st to confirm that we still wanted them to come out and 2 to confirm that he was on schedule and would be there 10 minutes early. The consideration of the calls was very nice and appreciated. The "little" nuances as a home owner can drive you crazy when having to line up a repair, they made this easy on my end and I will use them again. Thanks!

I found Aviv Service Today on Google but I then went to Angie's List to check them out. I then called Aviv Service Today because of the information I found out about their service on Angie's list, I called them about 9:15 am on a Saturday and explained my problem . I was told they could have someone there between 11 am and 1 pm . Tom the repair person showed up about 11:05 am. I was very pleased.. Our dishwasher would not switch from the drain cycle to the wash cycle. He quickly identified where the problem was and fixed a stuck switch. I then told him about my dish washer door hanging up a bit sometimes and he worked on that. We also had been having an issue with one of the adjustable dish holders . He found it was missing some plastic clips and said he would order them for us. Tom did all that in about 35 min. Tom was professional efficient and very pleasant. The next time I have an appliance problem I will call them an hope they send Tom.

He was excellent, and on time. Very knowleagable, immediately able to pinpoint the problem. Replaced the motherboard. Very professional and knew exactly what he was doing.

They were fabulous. I would highly recommend them. Not cheap but one of the best.

Provider explained the ballast used to stabilize tub was either not anchored correctly to begin with or had come loose and was no longer suitable for it's intended purpose. A repair kit, as well has an additional stabilizer was ordered. When the part came in and was opened, the repairman found that GE had upgraded and improved the repair kit and the additional stabilizer was not needed. The repair was made quickly, quietly and efficiently. He also took the time to thoroughly clean under the washing machine. Costs were given and explained up front. The repair was done on time and as stated.

Technician was very professional, and quite knowledgeable about his business. After replacing the part, and verified that my refrigerator was cooling properly, he took the time to clean the cooling coils underneath, and gave me some pointers on how to do that on a regular basis. They have a 5yr warranty on parts, as well as limited warranties on service. Technician left contact information for his company, with instructions to call if anything went wrong in the next 24 hours. I'll have to mention that I called a different service provider first (based on a recommendation from the store where I purchased the unit) but they didn't show up and didn't call to let me know they weren't coming. I called Aviv on Saturday morning, and they had a technician out within two hours. Excellent service and professionalism by this technician who represents Aviv very well.

These people are great. They show up promptly, give you an itemized estimate, and make repairs quickly and professionally. I will definitely use them again.

It was a wonderful experience. I was able to get a same day appointment which was wonderful. Our repair person gave us a call when he was on his way, he was very professional, personable and cleaned up behind his work. I would use Aviv for future repairs.

On July 12, I returned home to a non functioning fridge/freezer. I was referred to Appliance Dr by a friend. Appliance came out replaced a relay switch, left. Still not working. Returned said I needed a new fan motor. Ordered fan motor. Waited. Came out on Aug. 6 to install fan motor. Told me it should kick on as soon as the freezer got cold. Never happened. Later that same day I called Aviv and scheduled a diagnostic service for Aug 7. Nate came and conquered. The board(?) was shorted out. I OK'd overnight delivery and today Aug 8 Nate returned installed a new board. Now the fan actually works, the freezer is getting cold and the fridge is cooler too. Aviv is my new go to for appliance repair! They should have been my first call. Regarding Appliance Dr. seems they only change parts and do not diagnosis the true problem. Also they don't tell you that if your built-in needs to be pulled out they can't/won't do it.

They not only replaced the part that was the reason for the call, but they found something that had caused it to break in the first place so that I would not have to make another call to them next month. They charged me only for the part in that case, not the labor. They give a 90-day service guarantee and a 5-year parts guarantee. Prompt, professional, friendly, and very tidy!

We had a good experience with them. They did a good job. We never had a problem since. They were on time and courteous. I would recommend them.
