The work AVIV did went very well. However, AVIV wanted $160 for the bake element and it was available on the internet for $63.80. So I bought it on the internet from Repair Clinic but I ordered the wrong part and had to reorder, returning the wrong part. This meant AVIV had to make three trips at $80 each. So I ended up not saving any money, but it was my own fault. AVIV did good work and were very responsive and professional, but I think they could have given me a break on one of those ten-minute service calls.

Tech came at the very end of the long appointment window, and was unable to provide a specific quote afterwards because the parts personnel had already gone home for the day. A general quote was given, and someone was supposed to call me back the next day with a firm quote, but that never happened. Didn't want to accept the $10 Angie's List coupon, "Save it for later if you decide to get the repair done," even though the tech was clear that the probable price of repair was on par with a new washing machine. Tech did show me how to manually force machine to spin by putting it into test mode, but the tub has been off-balance since the tech came out. Would be unlikely to call this company again.

Made the appointment. Service person arrived on time and preformed the needed work quickly and professionally.

We called early on Monday morning and they arrived within 2 hours. Professional service. By Friday morning our machine was once again in working order.

We had an upright freezer start to defrost unexpectedly ( I know, who plans on their freezer failing!?). I called Aviv and it did take about 3 hours for them to respond, but they did. We did describe in great detail how we discovered our freezer was begining to get warm and any noises it was making. We told the repairman we had kept the door closed firmly all night; it continued to get warm and not freeze (we initially thought perhaps we did not close it completely when last opeing the door). The serviceman carefully explained our options and we decided our freezer was beyond repair and we paid only the service call fee. They were great to work with and very helpful to make the decison is was time to replace this freezer. I recommend them and I will be using them again! Thanks Aviv!

I called in the a.m. and they arrived in the p.m. The service person called before arrival time. He was very professional and diagnosed the problem. I would use them again. He did give me a rough estimate for the new part, but I think we may wait and purchase a new refrigerator in the future

Their price to show up for a service call to troubleshoot is fantastic. He came when he said he would come.

Based on the Angie's List recommendations I called them for the problem. They gave me a rough estimate over the phone. We were surfing around on the internet and found a way to fix the problem ourselves. I let them know what happened and they acted in a very accommodating and customer service oriented manner. From a customer service stand point I would give them an "A".

They called several times the next day for directions. They finally found us which shouldn't have been hard since we're a fairly large business. After examining the problem, he told us that it was our drain pump and it would cost $285 for the part and they had one on the truck. He said the total cost would be around $385 for everything. I hesitated as I felt the cost was too high, but we needed to get it fixed, so I agreed. When the time came to pay, I asked why the installation was so expensive as it only took him about 10 minutes and if the $70 I paid for the visit applied to the work they did. He said that it didn't apply and that was the diagnostic fee. I was somewhat surprised by this since none of this was explained on the phone before they came out. Later I went on line and discovered that the average retail price for the part that he sold me was only $78, plus about $10 for shipping. I feel that they overcharged us for the part by about $185. In retrospect I should have shopped the part on line and installed it myself. Looking at it later it was a very easy and simple install. I would not use AVIV again as I feel they overcharged us quite a bit.

They were quick and they did the job in a timely manner. They came on time.

When I purchased a new house I inherited an older clothes dryer. The drum did not tumble even though the heat worked. A very polite Aviv serviceman made a Saturday morning visit and discovered a broken belt, but also some other problems. I was given the option of repairing just the belt, or a more complete refurbishment. I chose the refurbishment. After putting everything back together, there was a very slight rubbing noise when the drum tumbled, which the serviceman immediately addressed by taking everything apart again and correcting the problem (which probably caused the belt to snap in the first place). All of this was done quickly and with great professionalism. He even cleaned up the dust bunnies that resulted from moving the dryer!

We had problems with a side-by-side fridge: the ice maker was spewing water all over the freezer, wreaking havoc. And, in our "garage" fridge, we had a problem with ice build up. The technician was very nice, friendly and professional. he was even really sweet with our dog. He explained the problems very well so i understood why the things werent working. I cant say everything is working perfectly now, but overall, it was an extremely positive experience and i was very very pleased with the reasonable cost for the service.

The young man that arrived at my door right on time on a Saturday morning got right to work and showed me the condition of the dryer and drum. I opted to completely refurbish the drum and all associated parts because Aviv offered a two year warranty on the parts - better than what most new machines offer. When it was reassembled there was an odd noise. He took the whole thing apart again and discovered that the motor had been jostled out of it's proper place - perhaps when someone else attempted to fix the dryer. He seated the motor properly and put everything back together again. All of this with a very professional and friendly attitude.

They had to order a part, got it as promised.

Excellent. Aviv arrived the next day, at the scheduled time and performed the repair for a reasonable $90 fee.

They are very fast, extremely polite and professional. Although it's virtually impossible to find a "deal" in appliance repair any longer, I feel the money spent with Aviv is well-earned. I will probably always use them.

After looking up on Angie's List, I went to thier website and submitted a request on-line on Sunday afternoon. Monday morning, they called, confirmed the info I had submitted and scheduled an appointment that afternoon. They came on time, and found the problem, and said they had to order a part. The first visit cost $60, and they gave us a detailed estimate for the full repair. Came back on Wednesday, completed the repair, and cleaned up after themselves. Total cost for the job was $260, about half the cost of a new comparable washer, so I guess it was worth it.

My refrigerator went out on Sunday, so I had them come out on Monday to fix it. The guy was here for about a half an hour and fixed it right away. He replaced a switch on the motor. I was very pleased with the service. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to others.

They have done a lot of repairs on my ice machine in the past as it requires a lot of maintenance. They are very good what they do but they are high in their pricing. The part that they fixed probably cost around 35 dollars or so but the ending price was around $200. They are however worth the price because of the top quality of work that they do.
