I would like to be able to say I had a good experience with Shawn, but unfortunately, I had no experience with him at all. I called him Monday 3/10 about completing some work at one of our rental properties. I gave him the resident's ph# to schedule directly. He said he'd go to the store and pick up what he needed and get over there the same day. I found out this past Sunday, 3/16, that he never even bothered to call, let alone show up and do the work. Thanks for nothing. Should have listened to a colleagues' warning that this vendor does not show up or complete jobs as requested.
Description of Work: Absolutely nothing. He ignored the request and didn't even follow up as to why,

The person was suppose to show up on Thursday but did call and say he couldn't make until Friday. On Friday he showed up to install the outlet in the closet. While drilling the hole for the electrical wire he drilled through our living room wall that we had just freshly painted. Instead of giving us some off on the bill for the new hole in our wall the price was $50.00 more than he had quoted. The person did not even say he was sorry for the hole or offer to do anything about it. We patched and repainted the wall ourselves. We were new to the area and didn't know anyone to call for this project but now we will check Angie's list in the future to find professional people.
Description of Work: Installed an outlet in our utility closet so we could hook up our vacuum cleaners and other stuff in the closet.

Stay away from this guy. I had more work for him so I made the mistake of paying him in full when there were a couple things left unfinished. Not only did he not come back to fix his mistakes and work on the new project, but I discovered he messed up the electrical circuit where he pulled power from to install one of the exterior outlets. Now, the fan on my porch won't work. I didn't discover this until he was long gone. The items he was supposed to complete? He was supposed to come back and replace the transformer he installed, because he bought the wrong voltage. He said he was in this area all the time, that it was no big deal to swap it out. He was also supposed to change the color of the exterior housing for one of my exterior outlets - which - as I found out later when I bought one for $20 TOTAL from Lowe's...see the invoice above. I was grossly overcharged for these items. At any rate, before I discovered his negligence, we had set up an appointment to begin the new project and take of these things. When he missed the time, I called him. He apologized and said he got caught up on another job. I was cool about it - still naive to his game. When he missed the time of the rescheduled appointment, I called him up and he actually said, "oh! wait! let me call you back when I get in an area with better reception." That is when it finally dawned on me what a weak person this guy was. So weak I was blind to it. Find a company that stands by their work. This guy won't be around long. By the way? He is the licensed electrician, but a helper does most of the work while he disappears to go and get parts.
Description of Work: They installed a transformer in a track lighting unit. They installed two exterior outlets, cutting through a brick wall. This is exactly what the charged according to their invoice. "supply and install (2) GFCI Exterior Outlets" 1 Bubble $40 1 Cut-in $65"supply and install transformer for Low Voltage" $60"service charge" $135
