Delano and he crew came in. They did a great job! They were quick, efficient and cleaned up everything! I would absolutely use them again and I highly recommend them!!

Blue Bird answered the phone, and came by for an estimate the same day. Great knowledge about what needed to be done. We agreed on the price and the work was scheduled and completed Thursday the same week! My yard looks amazing! The crew was very professional & curdious. They took the time to show my very interested 2 year old the job & tractor. The yard is now level with all the out of control weeds & brush cleared. Sod was laid and the existing irrigation was correctly adjusted. Highly recommend their services & I will be keeping their business card for my future projects.

I chose Blue Bird Lawn Service over three other providers that I contacted. Delano responded very quickly to my request for quote, communicated very well, was personable and professional. We communicated via video chats since I was out of state at the time. He scheduled the job the same week that I hired him, no long lead time. The landscaping was very overgrown with lots of weeds. His team removed pine straw, removed weeds, installed weed barrier fabric, trimmed all the bushes and trees around all sides of the house plus additional beds around the lawn, installed mulch, then mowed the lawn when finished. All debris was hauled away. I was very pleased with the end result of his team's work! At the end of the job, we did a video call and he walked me around the property. He even upgraded the mulch without charging me since he thought the color would look better against the brick house. Delano was honest, ethical, and fun to deal with. I have never hired anyone to do work on my home long distance like I had to do this time. Initially I was a little concerned that I wasn't there to "watch over" the job. My fears were unfounded. A job well done!

Excellent work. Professional, knowledge about correct way to provide service

Delano called me immediately regarding my request for quote and came to the house within a couple of hours to see what needed to be done. He gave me multiple options for the pavers I wanted and we discussed my choices for plants in depth. He was extremely knowledgeable and help steer me in the right direction for my choices. He arrived on the day of install on time with a whole crew and they were extremely helpful. I made some changes during the install because I didn’t like the way something looked. The guys were wonderful and rearranged the pavers to my request. When they were done, they cleaned everything up so you had no idea they were even there. It was awesome experience and I would recommend them highly.

Needed a new lawn service guy and Delano and his crew stepped in and saved the day. Very professional.

Delano called shortly after I got on Angie's List looking for someone, and then he came all the way out to our house about an hour after we talked to look at what we wanted done. He was very friendly and personable! I went ahead and scheduled a time for them to do the job. That morning They showed up on time and ready to go. Unfortunately the company where they got the mulch from, delivered the wrong mulch...we ordered natural (non-dyed) brown mulch and what they delivered looked like straw. Since the mulch company wouldn't make it right, Delano went with his truck, filled it up with the right mulch from a different mulch company 4 times - that's 4 times of having to drive there, fill up his truck, then drive back to our house to drop it off. They also removed the wrong load of mulch. I felt bad for them because I knew they had other jobs to get to that day. He really wanted to make sure things were done the way we wanted! They didn't have quite enough soil/compost to fill the new gardens they made, so they came back the next day with more. Delano went around and edged the beds a second time, a bit deeper because he new we like them that way. All of the guys were super nice and did a great job!

Mr. Brown came to give us an estimate within two hours of requesting a quote. He was friendly and professional and really listened to what it was we wanted and how we wanted our yard to look. Over the course of the next few days he updated us on the purchases he made on our behalf for our yard...and included pictures. On the day of the actual work he brought a small crew and they worked hard and diligently to make our yard look great. They were all friendly and professional and extremely skilled in what they were doing. We had flowers planted, a tree planted, elephant ears, black mulch, shrubs, the works with a beautiful rock border. After everything was done, the yard looked amazing. We are extremely pleased. We would hire them again in the future.

Delano came over within 2 hours of my first call for an estimate. This was late afternoon on a Friday. He proceeded to tell me about his services and then offered to cut my lawn, trim it, and blow away debris right there, at that time. It turned out fantastic! I hired him on the spot. On the next visit he again did the regular lawn service and a pre-agreed one-time edging, shrub trimming, and landscape weed control application. I am so satisfied. He has no contracts, communicates well, does what he says he will do, and shows up when he says he will. I am now on a regular 2 week service schedule. This is an outstanding provider and I would recommend him and Blue bird to anyone.

My previous big business lawn service was a no-show AGAIN, so I decided to call a small local business and I'm glad I did. I called Delano mid-morning and he was here with his crew by 2:00 p.m. I told him what I needed done. He and his crew immediately got to work and were done in 30 minutes. Everything was neat and tidy and my lawn looks perfect!

Very well. They did an excellent job. I was very pleased.

I work full time, go to school full time, have toddlers, and didn't tend to the back yard for a long time because of this. It was a jungle back there with a lot of trees, weeds, over-growth, and lots of POISON IVY. They offered to kill it and remove it with no additional charge from initial free estimate. They were here for about 5 hours and did a lot. His crew did a great job and I have my yard back. Delano even asked if I liked the height of where he cut the front and I thought it was still too tall and he went over it again. Pleasure to work with and rates are good compared to the competition (I priced a few others). Honestly, I hate paying money for stuff I can do myself, but it was so reasonable for the amount of work needed that I don't think I'll ever work on my own yard again. Look forward to him maintaining my yard from now on.
