I bought a HVAC tune-up deal from DealSaver.com. I called this company's West Columbia office and left a message to make an appointment; that call was never returned. At some point later, I got on their website and sent an email about needing to make an appointment. Within a matter of hours I got an email back that was indecipherable due to lack of either knowing how to spell or not actually paying attention to what was being typed. The message read: I apologize or no by returning your phone call if you would tell me what to do heating and air or Paul mean do you a favor and I will get that scheduled for you right away thank you David ... Anyway, so I called and finally got a person on the phone and made an appointment. The appointment was for December 10, 2015. On that date 2 guys came out and one asked me what the unit sounded like and asked me to turn on the heat. After doing so he told me it was the motor going bad. They took off the side panel to the unit and mentioned that someone had put their initials and date on the inside of the panel. They called to see whether or not the unit still had a warranty on it. They made this call on speaker phone and so I heard the man on the line say it had a warranty until December 17, exactly one week later. They ordered the part and were told it was in stock. One of the guys from Air Services told me they would go get the part and come back the next day to install it and at that time would also do the tune-up that I had already paid for. He told me labor wasn't covered by the warranty and that they charged $60 an hour. He also told me he would call later to pick a time to come out the next day but that didn't happen. The next day, December 11, no one called and no one showed up, and when I called no one answered and no one returned my call, and I did leave a voicemail. That was a Friday and so I called again on Monday and someone actually answered, but at that time I was told that supposedly "they didn't have the stupid part" real professional there huh, and that he would call me back when he had the part which would be that day or the next at the latest, his words. I never heard from them again. I even sent another email but never got a response. As I figured out early on, the OWNER of the company was intentionally running out my warranty, which is a pretty horrible business practice. I had already called another much more reputable company and they called and were told that my warranty was good through December 22. They ordered the part I needed and used the warranty and I only paid for labor, which was $180 for less than an hour of work. So, because this joke of a company refused to do its job, I had to pay three times the amount I would have had to pay if Air Service had done the work that they were supposed to do. The no call no show aspect in itself is sloppy business ethics and shows that they don't really care about the business or the customers.
Description of Work: Nothing. After initially not getting a return phone call to set up a service appointment, I tried emailing them, which was responded to. 2 people came out, told me they were going to get a part and come back the next day, and from that point forward they did nothing. They didn't get the part, they didn't return calls, they didn't return emails. Basically, they were jerking me around waiting for my warranty on the HVAC unit to run out (there was 1 week left on it). This company performed NO WORK, even though a tune-up had been paid for.
