A TO Z HOME REPAIR & REMODELING

Project was supposed to take 10 days to two weeks and ended up taking two months. Main guy, owner of business, was a very nice person and obviously extremely competent, and if he had done the whole project it would have been wonderful. But he seemed to be tied up on other projects and many days had other people come and do the work. The painter he brought in was completely incompetent and did not sand down sheetrock mud before painting. He also painted over switches and outlets. Had to be redone. Many small details were not properly attended to. Again, we feel that if John did all the work, it would have been absolutely first class, but he does not have a steady crew and if he is not there it is hard to know what might happen. On top of that, although he expressed a willingness to make things right, it puts the homeowner in an awkward position to have to run behind the contractor and point out all the things that need to be corrected. After we filed this report, our pest control inspection revealed there was a leak in the bathroom. We had to have it redone by another company. In fixing the problem we discovered that also the shower had been completely improperly installed.
