We invited Paula over to inspect our house and give us an estimate for a deep cleaning after we moved into a large new home. She arrived late and with her niece (no explanation why she was late or why her niece was there). After explaining what we wanted (a thorough deep clean of the house), she gave us a quote and we agreed on a date to begin. She arrived to clean the house over an hour late (no explanation or apology!) reeking of cigarette smoke. To make a long and painful story short, she did a really bad job. She did what amounted to as a quick "once over" and didn't even finish the job. She spent most of her time on the upstairs and by the time she got to the downstairs you could tell she was burned out/tired. We had to remind her to do several things (like clean the refrigerator) and I had to actually point out how dirty the oven burner was and show her how to clean it. I spent probably an hour showing her how to clean the oven and the stove which were only slightly cleaner after her once-over than they were when she arrived. In the end, she had not done two whole rooms on the downstairs at all (not even a rudimentary dusting) and we were just so wanting her to leave that we didn't ask her to finish when she said she was done. I should mention that on the second day, her daughter and her niece came for the entire day, sitting around on their cell phones talking and chatting with their mother. No explanation as to why they were there and I had to ask them to keep it down because I was working from home that day. If you need someone to do a once over on your home (i.e. it is already fairly clean but you just want it a tiny bit cleaner), then Paula is your woman. I do not recommend.
Description of Work: We asked her to do a thorough deep clean of a house we had just moved into. It was too large of a house for my husband and I to tackle and needed help with dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning fridge, freezer, stove, oven, countertops, window panes, windows, bathrooms. In other words, we needed someone to do a top to bottom clean of the house.

She is very thorough and does an excellent job. She goes above and beyond normal cleaning. She cleans under my couch and cushions, cleans baseboards, washes inside of my windows. I would recommend her to anyone. Price is for cleaning of one floor of our home.
Description of Work: She has been cleaning my home for about a year.
