About us

Deserved Comfort House Cleaning is a local family owned business and is well known to the greater Columbia area. We are a member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau and have been providing residential cleaning and office cleaning service to many of our same clients for years. Our staff is of excellent character and strive to please. Our company pays all state and federal payroll taxes and insurance and complies with all taxation laws, thereby relieving our clients of this legal requirement. Deserved Comfort is also an accredited member of the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International, is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification Association and is also a partner with Cleaning For a Reason, providing free house cleanings for men, women and children with cancer.

Services we offer

Deserved Comfort provides "General Cleaning" (sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning the bathrooms, bagging trash, cleaning the mirrors, dusting and polishing furniture, dusting ceiling fans, blinds and baseboards, and cleaning the kitchen), on a "one-time", ongoing and "as needed" basis. We also provide service for detailed or "Spring" cleanings, vacant cleanings and hourly cleanings. We also handle interior window cleaning, cleaning inside of appliances and cleaning light fixtures.

Services we don't offer

Deserved Comfort does not handle dishwashing, laundry, ironing, straightening personal items and clutter, polishing silver or brass, exterior window cleaning, or shampooing carpeted floors and rugs.

I have been a client of Deserved Comfort Housekeeping for 18 years now and their name speaks for what they do for me. They want to please me and will go out of their way to make sure I am happy. They make a point to get to know you and what you like. They make sure they know your house to be sure the correct cleaning materials are used. They ask questions about your house and they know what to use to not harm anything. I recently renovated so with the new hardwood, stainless steel and tile you really gotta be careful. I was very impressed after they told me what exactly what products to use on everything. I can leave my house in their hands, not worry about a thing and come home to my much deserved clean house. Carmen is the best! My vacuum was not working during my cleaning day and she told the owner of Deserved Comfort Housekeeping that she wanted to come back and finish the job after I got a new one. Carmen did just that! They did not have to go out of their way to do that. Carmen and the owner Marlo are very nice honest people and they treat you right. I am so pleased with them and happy to have found them.
Description of Work: Detailed house cleaning. Dusting, scrubbing bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping floors and taking out trash.
