Description of Work: Company did a great job and sent out two crews to replace 2 HVAC systems for a 3,000 square foot home. The teams were professional, courteous, and did not leave a mess.

+ -1 moreAand R Heating and Air arrived on time, performed the service, and the heat pump has continued to work well this past month. The person who did the work seemed very knowledgeable and had excellent customer skills. He also had a helper who worked with him. There is a one year parts and labor warranty, and I am to call them when it warms up in spring for a free check up to make sure the system remains properly charged. Scheduling an appointment and having the service performed was problem free.
Description of Work: I had already paid another A/C firm, the one which had originally installed the heat pump, $80 for service. The problem evaporator coil problem was discoved, and I was given a $1250 estimate plus the cost of recharging the system, over $100. I called for other estimates which turmed out to be similar. I actually joined Angies' List in order to make find a recommended A/C firm. I choose A&R because they were local and because they gave me a slightly lower estimate despite the fact they only had one Angies' review. The owner Randy Bryant was very prompt in answering emails and phone calls. The service performed was replacing the leaking evaporator coil and charging the system. I was a little concerned because other firms had more Angies' ratings, and another local firm had previously, the year before, charged the system, but didn't answer telephone calls when the air conditioning stopped working a few moths later.

+ -1 moreThey did very, very well. They did a good job. He was good on the design of the layout. I had 3 other guys come in and give me some ideas. His was by far and away the best design taking up the least amount of room. His guys were quick and did neat work. It was all around good.
Description of Work: I used A&R Heating and Air to install a heat pump and ductwork in an unfinished basement that I am finishing.
