All in all it was a very good experience. Although we hit a few bumps in the road with scheduling, they came and performed the job. David was very professional and showed me additional issues he found with my roof and explained everything in detail. I would definitely use them again

In July, 2011, I was in search of estimates for my roof to be replaced. I received three estimates. MBG Construction Company, provided an estimate. They were not the highest nor the lowest. I liked the initial phone conversation with Susan, she is very friendly and professional. David came out to provide an estimate and he is very knowledgeable in the roofing industry. He answered all of my questions. I was comfortable with the price provided and the service offered. The roofing crew came out and David stayed onsite the whole time to make sure job was done right from start to finish. The job was completed in two days and clean up was great. Two years later, I was in the market for a deck replacement and had David complete this as well. This past January, I was in the market for gutters and called David again. There was no need to get another estimate as I knew that I would be satisfied and I was.

Repaired the roof, removed old shingles, sealed skylight, fixed the roof.

Just wonderful. We had a roof leak (that dripped right over our computer in the den) and the rains were coming, so we were a bit anxious. We had previously tried to have this repaired by another company, but the leak continued. MBG acknowledged and returned our message right away, and stayed in contact with us. Their repair man was up on our roof within an hour, and called to describe the problem and give an estimate. He fixed it on the spot, for a reasonable rate. They even called afterwards to confirm that it was no longer leaking. We seldom get this kind of attention and professional responsiveness. I own a plumbing business and can tell you that it is not easy to find such good service in the trades.

They did a good job. The roof is not leaking. The quote seemed high for the full roof replacement.

Around the beginning of July, I contacted MBG through another referral service, they were 1 of 3 roofing companies that I received an estimate from. All 3 of the estimates were fairly close in price, but I chose them because of their initial customer service. Susan was very prompt in getting me the quote, working with my insurance company (she used to work for state Farm), and answering my questions. Also, they purchase the roofing materials from Home Depot, so I was able to pay them directly for the materials and take advantage of HD's finance arrangement ( no interest/no payment for 12 months). Susan just called in the order and I went into the store and paid for it. The roof took 2 days to complete. David and his crew got to the property early in morning and worked as long as they could. They had to come back and complete the roof the next day because it became too hot for them to work. We did a walk around after the roof was completed. I noticed some of the shingles weren't completely flat and David told me that was normal, but the heat will cause the shingles to become flat over time. He also stated that if that did not occur then he would come back and fix it. This is were the level of service goes down. I let a couple of weeks go by and noticed a couple of things that were wrong. All the shingles weren't flat and some were actually coming up. Also there is a part of the roof that dips down as though there is nothing underneath it. I contacted MBG by both email and phone to reschedule a time for David to come back out. There were cancelations and no shows but finally someone came out, did some work, but said he would need to come back out to complete the work, but he never came back. When I contacted Susan, she told me that someone did come back out to the house, problem was I wasn't notified that he came back and there was no one there to show him what section of the roof I was referring to. On October 5th, David came back to the house and fixed the shingles that were flat. The dip in the roof has not been addressed, but I am really tired of running behind this company, so I will either live with it or get another roofing company to take a look at it for me. According to my agreement I have a 2 yr service warranty, which sounded good but I don't know if it worth the hassle. Bottom line, their initial customer and workmanship was good, but the follow-up was not.

Received estimate, agreed on price, scheduled roof replacement, service completed in two days.

Over all very satisfied as price and professionalism was very good. Happy to have them and will use MBG again.
