Exceptional. MGB was a God send. From the moment we made the contact, we knew we had made the right choice via Angie's List. We were contacted promptly and due to the rainy weather had a slight delay which was no problem because we were informed beforehand. This company is top notch as I work in the Real Estate profession and custom built my own home. I cannot say enough about this great company from the conscientious professional answering the phone to the owner who worked as though this job was over $10,000. We were valued and treated with respect throughout this process. I would rate this company as #1 in the construction industry and will definitely use them again. MGB definitely bought a free billboard with my family as we will refer all our RE client's, family and friends to them in the future.

The process went well. Once I decided to go with MBG, I had a hard time deciding on the right color shingle. It was difficult for me to tell just by looking at shingle websites. Susan helped me decide by providing samples (I asked for a few!) and giving me input on what would look nice with my shutters. She was absolutely right. The color she recommended is perfect! David and his team of roofers were prompt and finished the job in one day. I got at least 5 quotes and MBG had the best quality and value for my money. I had a ton of questions and Susan always took the time to answer every question I had.

The guy came over and told me a few things on how to improve the roof. How he would install and he was a professional guy. I like his hospitality.

They came out on time and came back to follow-up on a leak.

I called MGB Construction to see about having them do some roofing repair. I was enticed by their previous ratings on Angie's List and the offer of a coupon for roofing repair work for $450.00. However, when they returned my call and I explained over the phone what I needed. They told me they were not doing any repair work as they had too many other jobs. I appreciated the honesty of the person who called; but think it deceptive to have a coupon offer on the List for a service they do not provide. I have written this review before, but have not seen it posted. I don't know if I would recommend this firm or not for their work. But, don't call them for their coupon ad.

It was difficult getting them to show up on the day they planned but when they did come they were on time. They cancelled 2 appointments but came on the third. They were extremely nice guys.

Found out about MBG on Angie's list. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. Spoke with Susan about the needed repairs. Sent her some photos of areas I needed repaired. They were able to give me a guesstimate based on what they had to go on. Dave came out to take a look and give me a more accurate estimate. Turned out to be the same as the guesstimate. They came out a couple days later and did all the repairs in a very prompt and professional manor. Insisted that I not pay them until I was able to check their work and was sure of my satisfaction. Everything was satisfactory. Price was fair but just like anything, I wish it had been a little cheaper. I will call them if I need any other repairs in the future.

There was no pressure to do the total job, but evidence of leaks made the decision easy. Job was completed on schedule with excellent clean-up. Professional, excellent communication, positive customer service.

David was very personable and prompt. I would have felt comfortable with him installing my roof. He seemed to be a great guy, and his quote was in line with others I received. Ultimately, I decided to go with another contractor. I have nothing bad to say about this company.

They showed up on time and were done a lot quicker then I thought they would have. Did a great job. Hopefully I'll never need them again but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to call them back.

I am happy with the service. They were very polite, responsive, and did everything they said they would.

The process went very well from start to finish. I contacted MBG via email and was contacted the next business day by Susan. She was very pleasant and professional. She scheduled a time for David to assess the issues I was having with the siding on my rental property. We met at the property on an agreed upon date and time. David provided an estimate on the spot and Susan followed up with a written estimate for $325 for the repairs. Once David and his crew began the work they discovered the problem wasn't as a bad as originally thought. Much to my delight, he was honest enough to adjust the price by $225. Roofing contractors can sometimes be the least trustworthy in the home repair business. I've used MBG in the past, they proved to be trustworthy then and even more so now. I would definitely recommend MBG to anyone seeking an honest business to do quality work in a timely manner. I will definitely use his services again in the future.

They were very responsive and prompt, contacted us right away and scheduled the maintenance package special I purchased through Angie's List. They went out and did the routine work, and then were supposed to call us back with an estimate on two other items that needed fixing--a fascia board and a leak somewhere that had water dripping in the entry hall--possibly the same problem. They never got back to me with an estimate, or ever contacted me even to let me know that the original work was completed, let alone call me while they were there at the house. They just dropped off the face of the earth. I know they were out there because my renters observed them on the roof at the appointed time. I was very disappointed they didn't follow up as they promised they would. I only use reliable service people, which was why I joined Angie's List to begin with. I don't consider this company reliable in the least. I am very unsatisfied with their level of service. They may have done the work well, I have no way of knowing. But I consider follow-up a critical component of a service package. This was a total fail.

Yeah, they did come out and they inspect the roof and so on but they don’t do any work. They found initially on those basically I haven't asked them the work yet. I am not sure if I am going to use them probably I maybe going to see somebody else to look at. I contacted them the day they came out it’s been a while. It cost me about $200 for the inspection. They were able to give me a quote, a written one from the gentleman it’s only about what it cost. I suppose to get a written report but they never did. They were responsive. I possibly would use them.

Guys were running late and office called to notify me of the delay. Once arrived job was done professionally and timely. They reported the issues to be and the issues were corrected. Good professionalism!

Vendor showed up bright and early on time ready to go to work. A good experience. No doubt Mr. Struther was in charge of his crew.

Great. I had a leak around my chimney. It has been "fixed" previously and only held when it was just a brief sprinkling rain. MBG came did roof inspection and fixed leak around chimney. It has held even through the last two days of long, hard, wind-blowing rains. Will use them again and will definitely recommend them to others.

They gave a recommendation as to when to have the roof replaced. The date of the appointment had to be changed due to their workload, but we were contacted in advance and it was handled professionally. I would have no problem working with MBG again.

I had a small leak in a corner of my roof. The roofer took pictures of the problem, showed me, explained what needed to be done, and later returned to repair the work. He is planning to come back again to check on the work and paint the inside ceiling where water rings appeared. I am very pleased with the knowledge of the roofer, his wife/receptionist when I called, and I would definitely not hesitate to use them again.

Bought the "Big Deal". Was contacted via email and then phone by Susan who is very pleasant . David came out to look at the roof while we were gone. Left sample book. Phoned to ask choice of shingle color. Materials and dumpster delivered on Monday.. It was cold with a little rain Tuesday but they were prepared.. I met David and was glad to see that he works along side his crew.They worked quickly and efficiently. The street side of the house was done by noon. The back half took longer. They worked till dusk and came back early Wednesday to clean up . About an hour after they left, the dumpster was picked up. All that remains is a beautiful new roof. Everything went smoothly in the time frame we were promised. We are pleased with the work and the way it was preformed and would use MBG again and recommend them to friends.

David and his crew are professionals. They care about what they do and make sure the job is done right. I don't write many reviews but felt I had to write about MBG Construction and the excellent job they did. Don't trust such an important job to anyone else. Use MBG and you will have peace of mind for decades under your perfectly installed roof.

Very professional and courteous. Helpful in explaining all of the things that need to be looked at when inspecting a roof that is 17 years old. I was afraid that they would use this opportunity to try to sell us on replacing our roof, but they indicated that the roof was still in good shape and would probably be 3-5 years before needing to be replaced. It was apparent that they were knowledgeable about their craft. Will definitely consider them when it comes time to replace our roof.

I can't say enough positive things about David and his company. From initial contact through the end of the repair job we were 100% satisfied. Never had a contractor that actually showed up at the exact time of the appointment; that is not until now! And not just once, but twice. David was very professional; explained the problems he found and showed pictures that he took both before and after the repair of the sealing and shingling of the pipe vent boot. We were so impressed with this company that we recommended David to our son who was also in need of roof repairs on his home. David was hired by my son and in turn was also referred to my son's neighbor to do some roof repairs on his home. Their experience mirrored our experience, exemplary! David also reduced the price that he quoted to do our repairs because we referred him to our son. We did not ask for this discount, nor did we expect it. It was just great customer service! I would hire MBG again without reservation.

The service was fine. They did what they said they would do. They were good. They came out in the rain and fixed it. It was great.
