It went well, Nathan showed up on time, the site was left clean after competition and Nathan stood behind his work after a problem came up.

One price was quoted for sod replacement in 2 specific areas. Work was completed in one area but in a patchwork fashion. The explanation was that the crew put sod in an area where it was not intended and did not have enough left over to complete the job. In the second area that was quoted on the work was never completed. They would only complete this work for additional money which of course I declined stating that this was part of the original quote/contract which was in writing. The reply was simply..."I don't have time for this ("this" being what his actual job is) and if you want the job done you will have to pay more".

Well, I guess The Other Side Landscaping just doesn't want the business. We are looking for an ongoing relationship with a landscape maintenance and design/installation provider. Called this non-provider twice and left message per business answering machine each time. We received no response.

They did the work very quickly and they were reasonable. They were very polite and punctual. I was very pleased with them.

Our yard needed a facelift, so I looked on Facebook, and a neighbor had recommended The Other Side Landscaping, owner's name is Nathan Fortner. I called him and he came that very day to look around our yard and we discussed what I wanted and needed. He took notes and measurements the whole time and made some suggestions and promised to get back to me with a thorough plan and estimate. The plan he emailed me was perfect, and he and a couple of workers started a couple of weeks later. It went great! My yard looks beautiful. What I really appreciate is that he listened to what we needed ( I DO NOT have a green thumb so it all needed to be low/no maintenance) and took that into consideration together with our neighborhood requirements (strict HOA) and of course our weather and the direction that our house faces, as far as plants needing to be hearty and able to take full sun. I wanted it to be easy, and have some pretty colors and smell good, and he totally delivered!! He was professional and friendly and we will most definitely continue to use him for all of our lawn care and landscaping needs.
