I have a home warranty. This contractor was a referral from them when my A/C stopped working the last week in May. For 3 weeks I waited on a part. First, the wrong part came in. Then after reordering, the right part came in but without the mounting bracket.. The bracket was ordered. After 3 weeks without A/C, the contractor came and installed the parts and left. He did inform me that whoever had installed my new air handler had stepped through my ceiling and cracked the sheet rock. But what he didn't tell me was that the same contractor who installed my new air handler had not made the old return and supply duct work fit the new air handler. The duct work was taped to the new air handler with a couple of strips of tape. These had probably come loose and he re-taped them and left. I had no A/C because there was a 4 " gap between the old duct work and the new air handler on both the return and supply ends. Four weeks later in July, the thermostat called for 76 and the inside temperature of the house was 85. So again I had to call the home warranty folks to send someone out to fix my A/C again.
Description of Work: Replaced a warranty part on a newly installed air handler. Didn't report the 4" gap in the return and supply duct work where they met the new air handler.

Their punctuality was great and they were here in no time. The quality was also great and they didn?t try to sell me anything that I don?t need. The price was fantastic.
Description of Work: My air conditioner was performing so I called Scott’s Residential Services to fix it. They put new Freon in my air conditioner and did some adjustments.

I could not have been more impressed with the gentleman who owns the company, does all of the work himself(with one helper),gave the estimate himself(instead of sending someone else)and who was so courteous and honest. The ducts in the attic were torn to shreds by critters. These guys were timely as well as thorough. They cleaned up the garage after finishing the job. The price was a third that of the four other estimates I got. There is a decided advantage to using independent, small businesses.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced all duct flex along with mastic that was damaged by critters. Removed trash from attic. Vacuumed indoor registers clogged with insulation.
