They located the problem area, removed old shingles, replaced 3 sheets of damaged plywood, put in flashing, underlayment, and new shingles. The cost equaled the quote I had been given. I'm adding this review after two years (just signed up for Angie's List), and no problems since, even during Hurricane Matthew.

The price was excellent: It was 3 to 4k less than the other two bids for the basic job. The basic job would have been around 13k, but I asked to upgrade the shingles to Ultra HD from regular HD and this resulted in a $2,450 extra materials charge, which was fair. The job was supposed to include and quot;replacement of the attic exhaust fanand quot; and while the fan was indeed replaced, it was replaced with a very cheap $30 fan and they would not hook it back up to electrical power, so I had to do that myself. They should have been explicit that this would be a condition of their bid. Also included in the scope of work for the bid was complete aluminum drip edge material around the full perimeter of the roof. They skipped putting the drip edge behind the roof gutters (about 62 feet of guttering), claiming it was not needed there. I later checked with a licensed home inspector who told me that the metal drip edging should have gone completely around the roof perimeter of the house, including the gutters. Overall, it was an ok job and I saved a few thousand dollars, but in retrospect, since this is for our home that we expect to live in for many years, I would have paid a bit more and used one of the more highly rated roofers on Angie's List.

We contracted with them to install a ridge vent on our house roof, replace caps on roof and install an attic fan with electrical connection. Since we are part time residents and would not be in town when the work was complete, they agreed to send us photos of the finished job prior to billing us. We had to email and call them to get the pictures--as soon as they sent them, we paid our bill in full. They also never connected the electricity to the attic fan. We attempted to contact them with several emails and telephone calls to make arrangements for them to connect the electricity to the fan. When they finally spoke with us about this, we were told they would not do it. In the end, we paid someone else to do so. It appears they took advantage of us as part time residents by not completing the job as agreed upon when we met with them.

They were prompt. Their price was very reasonable compared to other bids that I got. They were easy to work with. I haven't seen the roof because I don't live there, but my rental person said it looks good.
Description of Work: I used Pro Roofing Co. to replace my entire roof.
