The good: Came when promised; properly diagnosed and repaired the issue quickly. Really good. The not so good: Removed main water valve cover & didn’t replace it properly, requested pymt without offering a written invoice (I paid on the spot but asked for invoice. It was promised by email but has not yet been received), $220 price for 30 minutes of labor felt aggressive, as valves themselves are inexpensive. They deserve credit for diagnosing it right the first time, for fixing it, and for doing it as scheduled. I’d consider using them again but I’d get a quote before engaging. I, and some neighbors, have used these guys before and we were all very pleased...but their pricing strategy may have changed since then.

Greg and his assistant came out within a couple of days after we called, to diagnose the issues we were having with a thirty-year-old sprinkler system. He identified the problems very quickly and suggested several options for improving or eliminating the issues. We chose a solution that corrected most of the problems but was short of ideal (for that we would have needed to replace the system). He was able to fit us into his schedule within about a week. I was expecting him at 9:00 and called at 9:30 to find out if I had misunderstood the time. He called me back almost immediately to let me know they were wrapping up a job from the day before and would be out very soon. They arrived about a half hour later and went right to work. They replaced four valves in our system, put in a new controller, added a rain sensor, and moved one head that was watering the street. He demonstrated the system to me and adjusted the spray as I requested while we looked at it. The coverage is not 100%, but it is very close, as he had explained during his initial diagnosis. He explained the controller and the rain sensor to me, and left manuals. They were done within a couple of hours, which was great, since we had expected we needed to be home all day for them. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work done, and we are very happy with the result. The only suggestion I would have is that we would have preferred a write-up of the work to be done, either beforehand or at the time we paid. This is a good way for us to keep track of what we have improved around the house. Greg did the estimate verbally and used Square for payment; both of which are fast and efficient, but they don't leave us with a "paper" trail of what we had fixed. We wholeheartedly recommend Orlando & Sons to anyone requiring irrigation work. They did a great job.

We just bought the house, needed someone to come in to do a quick fix on a line and evaluate what was here. Team showed up on time, got right to work without wasting time. Both guys were very polite. Not sure of the name of the guy that discussed options with me, but I liked his no nonsense approach to explaining what the situation was, what could or should be fixed, and what could wait. He could of very easily told me that the entire wonky system needed torn out and replaced because I wouldn't have known any different, but he didn't. He explained how we could make what's there work the way it needs to. Will absolutely be calling them again when we're ready to make changes.

Our Rain Bird irrigation system just stopped working this morning. We were trying to test it to ensure it was programmed properly before we leave for vacation. We are new to the area so I searched Angie's List for a service person. Found Greg Fox of Orlando & Sons. Called and left a voicemail. Within 15 min, Greg returned my call. When I explained the situation, he knew right away that it was the rain sensor, doing its job, and halting the system from automatically coming on, since it had just rained the entire day before. We were unaware of this sensor. In addition, over the phone, Greg walked through programming the controller with me. It all works fine now. He wanted nothing for his time. I would highly recommend Greg Fox for his knowledge, professionalism, and fast response time. We were extremely pleased with his service.

When Greg Fox arrived he was not amicable at all. Seemed like he had a bad Monday morning. From the very beginning, he complained about how the system was set up and that it didn't look professionally installed. He quickly tested the lines and replaced 3 damaged heads. He kept asking me about drip lines installed and said they were all installed incorrectly. Told me to get the system operating properly would cost approximately $800.-- I told him I would discuss with my husband. When he arrived I asked whether he could mark all the heads so that the Scott's lawn people would not damage them during core aeration the next day. He agreed after a scowled look. When he finished, he rang the door bell and asked to be paid. I wrote the check and presented it to him. I asked him for the receipt and he told me I'd get it by email in a few days after he gave it to the office. As he was leaving I noticed he had not marked the head placement. I flagged him down and he did come back. We were out of the country for a few weeks. The receipt was received but the items outllined on the receipt did not total the amount he charged. There is a head in the front that is leaking and many of the heads were never adjusted to not saturate the driveway. This is our second home and usually checking the irrigation system is no brainer......this one was not such pleasant experience. I dare not call him ....afraid I'd get my head chewed off! :(

Fast and well, everything works again. Nice and courteous provider, has tended to my irrigation system for 10 years.

They were professional and courteous and I was not able to even be at the house.....so all was handled without issue without my needing to be there. Good work for me for this particular need.

They were here yesterday. They came. They were very nice and efficient. They were very nice. I would give them top marks across the board.
