+ 0 moreWe've used him for two or three years and we've been happy with him. He's done what he said he's going to do and he doesn't seem to overcharge. I don't have any problems with him and he's doing a fairly good job. When he comes we're not here and he leaves the bill on the door. When I catch him I go out into the yard and talk to him, but that's not every time. He only comes about so many times a year to put the weed control down. I don't really know when he's coming, but he always comes out when it is due. I don't call him to tell him to do it because he knows when to do it. I think the quality of his work is pretty good based on what we had before and he doesn't rip you off. His prices are quite fair. I have called him before and he always gets back to me. He's very professional and does seem to know what he's doing and talking about.
Description of Work: I use McLain Spraying Services for their lawn treatment services.

+ -1 moreAs stated above Mr. McLain is an excellent diagnostician which has been the key to solving the problem. At the beginning of the treatments he stopped by weekly to inspect the trees and other plantings and used additional treatments if necessary.
Description of Work: Two crepe myrtles in my yard had been infected with white fly year after year. In spite of treatments by various landscaping and treatment firms, nothing seemed to stop the infestations. In addition the problem had spread to plants that ordinarily do not get white fly. McLain Spraying Services was recommended by Jones Brothers Tree Surgeons. Mr. McLain came at the agreed on time and recommended both spraying and systemic treatments since the damage was extensive.He also told me not to expect instantaneous results since the problem had been going on for quite few years as evidenced by the amount of damage.This year(2012 is the first time since the trees were planted(one over 10 years ago), that the trees do not have white fly.. In addition my other plants including a little gem magnolia are thriving from the fertilizer he is applying.The contract is yearly and he inspects and /or sprays on a regular basis
