There are over 100 roofers in the area, why would I pay someone to give me a quote on a job that will be over $10,000? Sit back and give high estimates and you don't have to own a hammer, just keep collecting inspection fees.

Excellent Job, they exceeded our expectations in all areas. 10 men arrived on Tuesday morning and left on Thursday. They cleaned up the entire area and left it in better condition then when they arrived.

I have no idea since they never responded. I contacted them because of the great reviews and called them on either 4/15 or 4/17 (can't remember which date) and left a detailed message with phone number,etc.) Never received a reply - waited until the following week and called another company and a gentleman called me prompty back the next day and came out the following day and gave me an estimate for the work which was agreeable to me so I contracted with him to do the work required. What irritates me is the fact that they didn't call back. I don't understand how companies like this stay in business. I have no comment on their work since they didn't do any but according to the reviews posted people seem to be happy. I understand that most of these companies are small and have no office staff and are probably out on a job.but that is no excuse for not calling back. I'm sure they take breaks during the day and it should not be any problem to spend 2/3 minutes to return calls or call when they get back to the office. I'm sure they have cell phones with them every day. I never do business with a company that ignores the primary rule of customer service. Hopefully as a result of this review it will not happen again but if any one calls this company and does not receive a return phone call with a day move on to another company. In my case it was an irriation and they lost a customer and a job.

When we called to office a person came out the next day to inspect the loose shingles. We got the estimate at that time. The workers arrived the following day. Best service, ever.

I chose another roofing company only because they included in their comparable price some additional items (e.g., double the labor warranty, follow-on annual maintenance visits, any replacement plywood needed, any needed reflashing, heavier weight underlayment). But, I would not hesitate to use May River Roofing in the future.

Antonio Sandoval came by this morning to inspect the cause of water intrusion in my house from a recent storm. He carefully inspected the roof, and crawled into a very low section of my attic under a low pitch section of roof to see where the water could be coming from. He discovered that the low pitch section of roofing did not have appropriate water barrier protection, but could not find that it was leaking. Antonio had just advised me to wait until we see the leak again so he could come out and pinpoint the source, when he again inspected the ceiling for water marks. Although we had previously looked at the ceiling and walls ourselves for water marks, and had a prior roofing contractor look as well, Antonio discovered a difficult to see water mark around a solar tube light diffuser that we had not seen before. So we are having the solar tube installer do the repair. May River Roofing's honesty saved me a lot of money because I had a bid to reroof the low pitch section of roof for $3500. At least for now, this is an unneeded repair. But May River Roofing will be at the top of my list next time I have a roofing problem.

I had previously educated myself on the Internet about roofing, so I had a good idea what to expect and what it should cost for my size of house. I looked at quotes from several roofing companies, but May River Roofing stood out as the best, in terms of prompt communication; complete information spelled out on the proposal; and very fairness of price. The job was conducted exactly as promised, by an efficient and hardworking crew. I appreciated that May River obtained a Town permit and did everything legally and above-board. They provided a labor warranty, as well as the manufacturer's shingle warranty. In addition, Antonio Sandoval, the owner of May River Roofing, is excellent with communications and seems to me to be the kind of honest person who works hard and wants to do the job correctly. He reminds me of myself! From the first time I met with Antonio, I felt very comfortable with having the re-roofing of my home in his hands.

The entire process wae professionally performed. The owner and his work force were nice, polite, experienced people. Would definitely recommend to others and wouls use them again in the future.

Overall, the experience went very well. They were fantastic. They're a minority-owned company and very competitive with their pricing. They did an excellent job overall!
