Due to their monopoly, we have been forced to use Hargray in 3 different homes/apts over 4 different new televisions, and without exception the quality of the service is horrendous, EVERY TIME. Cable just stops working DAILY, several times every day. Voices from persons speaking on TV shows is delayed over these person's month's moving by 4 seconds nearly EVERY TIME, EVERY CHANNEL. And though we always pay for the fastest internet they offer, our internet service works half time, forcing me to wait for connection again to work to do my job!! We have called, talked with techs, had techs here, etc until we are blue in the face. And recall that we have experienced this at 3 different locations on 4 different TV and 3 different computers!! Yet, Hargray not once has refunded us for the money we have paid for NO service. Make no mistake about it, Hargray is a complete DISGRACE. Hargray makes Comcast look like an intellectual cable and internet god!!! I would be ashamed to work for such a sorry company who, in reality, steals from customers as it does not provided for that which we pay!!!

Do not use this company if at all possible. They are unreliable. They do not have trained technicians that have a clue about anything. When you call the company, you have a dozen or more prompts and the normal wait is between 20 and 40 minutes! They will never return your phone call. Their equipment is the cheapest I have ever seen. If I had another choice other than Time Warner, I would definitely use them.
Description of Work: There was a power outage on the Island during the Labor Day weekend. Our Internet service did not work afterwards. We spent three days and many hours waiting for them to answer and talking with 5 different people. We unplugged boxes, got down on our hands and knees and followed all instructions from them in order to get things working. The router would not respond. We kept telling them that it was not working and someone would need to come and check it in the home. They refused. After our last phone call today, they said they might be able to come Thursday. or Friday and they would immediately call us back with a time. It has been 4 hours. I have Ives all over the US and this is by far the worse cable corny that I have ever had to do business with.

When you call you get person who collects information about problem, then they tell you a tech will call you back. Twice I have called each time it took more than 6 days for them to call back. When tech calls back, then they will schedule a tech to come to house, to fit their schedule that usually takes a week They have designed service for their benefit not yours.
Description of Work: Internet support service very very slow.

Their bundling prices seem to vary a lot; I have to catch them right at the right moment when they are having a promo. I will continue to use them in the future.
