Great! CHIS was incredibly accommodating and professional!

They were hired to inspect a house before purchase. While it is appreciated that they boast they "are the only home inspection company in the area that checks irrigation", they left the water on. I received a $52 water bill for 9 days of service! That is neglectful. I live in an area where the people are elderly so I doubt my neighbors would have tampered with it. In addition, they missed a leak in the shower from the slab-stone wall as well as poorly installed sliding glass doors. These doors are lopsided and have allowed pests to enter. When I had an installer come out to check them, without any guidance from me, he walked straight to the opening that should have been obvious to any professional inspecting the premises. I received an estimate of $3220 to replace the patio doors because they cannot be repaired. I also received an estimate of $2000 to repair the leaking shower because the slabs are 1/2 in thick and 18 x 18 slabs.

I have purchased several homes in my life, and I can say that Keith & Jamie Hutcheson are by far the most thorough, complete and professional team of home inspectors I have dealt with. They arrived on time, spoke with me about what they would be doing, asked if I had any concerns about the home. During the inspection, if anything was discovered to be significant, they showed me immediately, and then went over it again at the end of the inspection. At the end of the inspection, they reviewed all their notes with me and were very thorough. They also employ a full time office person, who takes all phone calls and coordinates a home inspection with all persons involved. So every time you call, someone will answer, no voice mail then waiting for someone to get back with you, which is great. I was also able to access and download my completed Home Inspection the following day. I would highly recommend them for any type of home/business inspection – as you will not be disappointed.

Jamie and Keith did a complete inspection for over an hour with pictures and explanations of what they found.Even did roof and all plumbing and electrical items. Very thorough and detailed report followed with pictures. Would highly recommend them.
