Bruce Marshall

Within the past month we moved into a house that is 5 years old and needed to make it our own. The existing colors just did not go with any furniture or our taste. We had a few estimates which were emailed to us within a few days. We then got the contact information of Bruce Marshall. Bruce came in, assessed the amount of time and paint it would take to paint 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a den, sunroom, great room and kitchen. We had his bid on the spot, but is was much more the money that had us hire him. In today's world it is difficult to find someone with a work ethic of the integrity of Bruce Marshall.

His estimate was way over the top in price. I let him come and give me an estimate and I don't know if he looked at the neighborhood and then set the price. His price was like double what I got it done for. His price was no where near reasonable. Bottom line assessment is don't mess with them. I don't know if he bumped the price up because of the community I live in. Even when I told him that I wanted to talk to my wife and that I would call him tomorrow. I called him the next day and told him we couldn't afford it and at that point he was willing to drop the price $200. Even with dropping the price $200, it was still way over the top. You run into that a lot. You can afford it. Really, you just mess yourself up. Whether I can afford it or not I don't have money to throw away. He will gouge you. I think he was here on time. Don't mess with him. Just because he got here on time, doesn't mean you should try him.

He was clean, careful, and did not get paint on anything I did not want painted. He did touchups with no extra charge and was really good. I highly recommend him.
