Description of Work: Need some secondary emission sensor replaced on VX Passat. Also 2 new front tires, and replace tail light. Had catalytic convertor noise and was recommended to Dukes Muffler in |beaufort. Did a great job, no more noise, $250.

Description of Work: They replaced a switch in our car. They also did an oil change and some other services as well. The service was good. They explained everything and everything seemed to add up. The car ran great. I did have one problem and I took the car back and they were on it.

Description of Work: I am very pleased with Autotechs of the the Lowcountry. I have taken two older cars there for service and I felt the pricing was reasonable and the service done well. I did not feel that they were asking me to perform any items that were outrageously priced or not needed. They also provided me with a good price on replacement tires. There facility is clean and the service personnel are very professional. We will be back.

 + -1 moreIt is typically a daunting task to find an auto mechanic when you are new to an area. Auto Techs had strong reviews on Angie's List. It turns out they have outstanding customer service. The shop is extremely clean and efficient. You could eat off of the lobby floor, definitely not the norm for an auto shop. Rodger, Stephen, and Michael are a father and his two sons. I told them what I needed done and they gave me an estimate of $184, which I thought was reasonable. The job ended up costing $50 less. I love it when a provider doesn't underestimate the cost and try to hit you up for more when the work is done. These guys did just the opposite. The owner was a 25 year mechanic for Mercedes Benz and knows his stuff. Auto Techs are so customer service oriented that when I was leaving I remembered I forgot to get a few of their cards to refer them to others. When they saw me coming back toward the shop, both Stephen and Michael came out the front door to ask if anything was wrong. I won't hesitate to go back in the future.

 + 0 moreI just moved to the Bluffton, SC area so you can imagine that finding a new mechanic (I am a female who knows nothing about cars) to work on my vehicle is not on the top of my "favorite things to-do" list. I'm always afraid I'll find someone who will take advantage of me (it's happened many times). The weekend before Thanksgiving I get in my vehicle and it wouldn't just wouldn't "go". I found Auto Techs of the Low Country via Google and phoned them on a Saturday. The owner's wife answered the phone and I immediately felt as if this was someone whom I could trust. I had my vehicle towed to their business and they began work on Monday on my transmission and had it ready to return to me by the following afternoon. This business is run by a family; they seemed very genuine, honest and were very customer service oriented. They also provided a 36,000 mile warranty on the transmission work done on my vehicle. I was very happy with their customer service and would definitely recommend them.

 + -1 moreAll repairs done in the time estimated. I had a 1 PM appointment and the car was taken immediately. Repairs were done sooner than the original estimate. I waited in the waiting room which was clean and comfortable.
Description of Work: Found problem of left front door control switch, windshield washer fluid holder and right mirror turn signal. Obtained parts and repaired everything. Very knowledgeable about my make of car.
