The were several steps to the process but it was very easy to deal with and they completed the work with very little disruption to my life. The countertops were replaced first which required a visit for them to measure everything which took about an hour and then they installed the countertops 1 to 2 weeks later. American Woodreface contracted this out with a countertop installer but they hired a plumber to come in afterwards and install and hookup all the plumbing to the sink and garbage disposal. That couldn't be done until the next day as the glue from the installers had to set overnight. So, I was without a kitchen sink for one day. The cabinets were measured by a person from cabinet reface and it took about a month for those to be ready. But they came out with everything and did the complete kitchen in one day. They usually schedule for two days, but my kitchen was fairly small so they stayed until 7pm and finished it up in just one day. They put up plastic to keep dust out of the house and cleaned everything up before they left so you couldn't tell they were there other than the much improved appearance of the kitchen. Just having it done so quickly with so little disruption and down time was worth the cost. The cabinets look much more high end than what was there before and they replaced one lower cabinet with pot drawers which I love! I provided the new faucet, garbage disposal and knobs. They installed those and provided everything else to create a vastly improved kitchen.

We are absolutely thrilled with our beautiful new kitchen. Installation was completed in two days with very little disruption, and at a reasonable price. Everyone from American Wood Reface has been reliable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We are completely satisfied with the job the installers did, from arriving on time each morning to cleanup at the end of the day. This type of job requires the homeowners to empty out all the cabinets and clear counter tops for the work to begin. Our suggestion (although we did not think of it at the time) is to take pictures of what is in each cabinet so putting things back is easier. This also is a great time to figure out what you don't use or need and donate it to your local thrift store. Work got off to a slow start because the installers had a blowout and arrived at 11:30am, about four hours late. However they got right to it and stayed until 7:30pm. Prep work closed off the kitchen from other areas of the house because a lot of cutting had to be done in proximity to the cabinets. However, sawdust has a way of going wherever it wants to, so be prepared. Day two was an eleven and half hour ordeal in order to get the job done. Then comes the fun part of putting everything back to where it belongs and finish the "fine" cleanup that the installers missed. After all is said and done, the result was everything we wanted and more.

Bruce redesigned the existing space and created a brand new kitchen for me. The process was fast and efficient. The carpenter Joe was always there when he said he was going to be. There was very little "down time" for kitchen use.

They forgot to order two drawer boxes, but they are on the way, and they were able to put the new fronts on the old drawer boxes for a temporary fix. The installation went very smoothly and the appearance is everything we hoped for.

Can not say enough good things! Absolutely fabulous! Would recommend them to anyone. Also very functional. I love that the drawers are full extension and replacing the doors with pull out drawers for pots and pans was a wonderful idea. Have had a week cooking in the finished kitchen and am still thrilled with how quickly clean up goes.

Went excellent. On time professional and very clean. The installers were very friendly and I was comfortable with them in my house. Clean up was very well done. We are very pleased with the product and the service.

This was a truly awesome experience! The men were on time, they cleaned up after themselves at the end of the first day and at the end of the second day they left my kitchen spotless. Only one and a half days to the complete job! The refacing material is cherry wood and makes my kitchen look new. If you are considering new cabinets, I highly recommend this company.

American refacing had to redo my cabinets two times because they came damaged. The process was sooooo long and unpleasant with no kitchen for the Holidays.

He was very friendly and knowledgable and professional and helpful. We have not made a decision yet.

The results are fantastic! It is impossible to tell we didn't replace all the cupboards with new units. They quoted the job, did the measurements and specifications, and kept us informed regarding the install date and process. The two installers, Jim and Joe are top shelf professionals, who did the complete install in 2 days . I was skeptical when we signed the contract, but the results are very impressive!

These people created a beautiful kitchen for me. Joe and Jim were very professional. They showed up when they said that they were going to show up and did the work that they were supposed to do; all in a very professional manner. Shortly after they left I had a problem and Bruce drove all the way from Charlotte to Simpsonville to help resolve the problem. Overall we are quite pleased with the job that they did for us.

I could not have asked for it to have gone any better. The crew was punctual, worked long hours and left everything clean and orderly. In my opinion the cabinet refacers especially went above and beyond what they were contracted to do. My kitchen looks beautiful. Like a brand new kitchen.

This included 63 doors. I liked the two gentlemen that came. They were very punctual and worked non-stop each day and kept me up to date on the work.

I liked the fact that American Wood Reface could do refacing and cabinets because very few companies do that and they pretty good work, it is not perfect but it is good. There were some things that were not up to our expectations but they rectified it. The finished product looks nice. The crew was nice and they cleaned up after themselves.

The whole project was so well organized and their detailing was impeccable. Once our decision was made the scheduling process went just as planned. The counterstop arived and were installed and looked beautiful. Once the cabinets had been made, the guys arrived on time and worked tirelessly until the job was completed. Their attention to detail was incredible and they left the kitchen as clean as it was upon their arrival. We'd definitely use this company again and have recommeneded them to our friends and family.

Every aspect of this project went perfectly. I am retired so money is a big concern and using AWR was worth every single penny. The designers ideas (Bruce) turned my plain outdated kitchen into a custom delight. The installers were perfectionist craftsmen and they left the kitchen ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE! Now I want to have my bathroom refaced next year. I am SO HAPPY!

Estimate was accurate. Work was completed in a timely manner. Craftsmen were friendly, professional and did more than expected. Materials are of excellent quality, better than the competition and better than new cabinets we considered. We saved enough compared to quotes for some new cabinets to pay for appliances.

The experience was very professional from the start. One of the owners visited our residence with cabinet door samples in a variety of finishes and styles. He explained that the price given was a firm quote. A few days later, the other owner stopped by to take measurements and to set up a date for installation. The installation occurred over the course of two full days. The installers were careful to cordon off the areas being worked on to minimize dust. They did nice work and cleaned up after themselves.
