Description of Work: EXCEPTIONAL!,from the first meeting to the last day of work. |This company has a great team in the Hilton Head area. The work was outstanding and beyond my expectations. My cabinets were refaced and additional cabinets added that made my kitchen supreme. The cabinets appear as brand new with and looks like I had total kitchen redesign. They worked with me on all my ideas and were very accomomadating. I highly recommend. Plus a very fair price! I love my kitchen now. I hated it before!!!

Description of Work: They refaced existing cabinets with new doors and new covering of existing cabinet. They used wood and changed some under cabinets with drawers. Installed hardware. Installed quartz countertops. Kitchen looked new and modern.

Description of Work: AWR refaced the his and her bathroom vanity cabinets for us as part of a master bath remodel. Ordinarily they only do kitchens but these are large vanities and I guess it was worth their while to do it. As it was not a big kitchen project we contracted on our own the plumbing, mirror work and countertops for the vanities. The AWR rep recommended the local countertop shop they use and wisely suggested that I deal with them directly to choose countertops and could probably save big $$ by selecting remnant surface, which we did. Once the cabinet maker measured it was probably another 3 months before they came back to do the work but again I realize this was only a bathroom, and the big kitchen projects take precedence for them. These are quality solid wood doors and drawer fronts which will save you a bundle over totally replacing your cabinetry. |Definitely worth contacting if you are looking to remodel!!

Description of Work: I obtained 3 quotes from different companies and American Wood Reface was in the middle. My decision in choosing them was easy. They arrived on time for the quote, listened carefully to my wants and gave me suggestions that I chose to go with. The installer arrived as scheduled to obtain the measurements, discuss the current cabinet alterations (cut out and reconfigure for a dishwasher, gas stove, and additional cabinets where the refrigerator was previously located. Joe return as scheduled to preform the carpentry work and scheduled a return date for the cabinet door and refacing. Due to a hold up by my counter top installer (no fault of American Wood) my install completion has been delayed. Joe has worked closely with me and is very accommodating. I would recommend American Wood Reface to anyone asking. They are very professional.

Did quartzite counters and butcher block on the island. They were on time, completed the job on schedule, clean and courteous. Description of Work: Our cabinets were refaced by this company after getting a sales presentation that was very informative. The materials selected and provided met with all our expectations. There was a slight problem with the wwod shades in some of the trim work that was installed but was completely corrected one month later after the material was provided by the manufacturer. The installeres were ultra professional, friendly and cooperative when asked a question and the issue mentioned was discussed. When they came to install the new material they were again friendly, happy to be here and completed the job perfectly with perfect results. We recommend them highly.

 + 1 moreBruce Zaidman, a regional manager for American Wood Reface, came to my home on March 27, 2011, to provdie me with an estimate to resurface approximately 36 drawer and cabinet fronts in my kitchen. I requested their estimate because I wanted wood doors etc. Bruce was courteous and really knew how to get the job done. Also, he brought lots and lots of samples with him, and spent a lot of time helping me pick out one or two that worked well in my kitchen. The samples were really very nice (they had that custom made, high end look) and they were solid wood. Bruce gave me a list of several references and I'm sure they would have done a good installation job. I didn't go with this company because of the cost. They quoted me $12,464.00 to complete the work--this included all the trim work, a built in shelf for the Microwave, and the removal of one cabinet that would be replaced with a one-drawer desk. They do not install countertops or back splashes. Nor do they do any plumbing. While I'm sure they would have done a good job, I thought that twelve thousand + was too high for resurfacing work. I had to put the kitchen remodel plans on hold for a couple of months, but will soon be getting estimates for new cabinets rather than refacing.

The kitchen looks better than new!!!! The entire experience was so clean, efficient and non-stressful it was a pleasure to have them do the job.
Description of Work: Re-faced the cabinets in kitchen and utility room. Huge selection of REAL WOOD with every style and shade or color possible. Easily adapted to our cabinet and drawer configuration without any major alterations. Even with European hinges, didn't lose the pull-out shelves so important in the deep cabinets.

Description of Work: This company was very professional and showed me they wanted my business and were willing to provide answers for all of my questions. I was shown an example of their work in a nearby home. They came back multiple times to talk about various aspects of the kitchen design. Their craftsmanship is superior, their product is very high quality. They arrived on time, kept me informed along the way, and I now have an incredibly beautiful kitchen for less than half the price of a new kitchen. I couldn't be more pleased.
