Scott was professional and the lawn and grounds looked good after the first service. Regular maintenance is performed and the lawn doesn't get out of hand! In colder months, it may be edging and pine needles, and picking up pine cones. After the ice storm in February, his team cleared the many broken limbs and trees almost the very next day. In warmer months, it is mowing and trimming. Initial cleanup was a bit steep in price - but they did a really good job including moving a small tree, removing a dead shrub, weeding, cutting all bushes back, etc. Regular maintenance appears as if they may rush a little bit - ant mounds remain untreated, weeds (saplings) in the beds are not pulled, and edging not done every time. However, lawns take time and improve with continued good care - so I am sure that it will get better with time. Overall, though, I am very happy with their service and would recommend them. It is so nice to come home to a green, neat lawn and know that I don't have to plan to "fit" lawn-mowing into my schedule!! Thanks Scott's Lawn Care!

Hire this guy! Scott showed up when he said he would (called ahead as promised). He gave me a very reasonable quote, and his workers started right in. They were very nice, worked quickly, and left things the way I wanted them. No problems at all!

Worked hard and did a great job for a good price

Mr. Scott came by and did a walk-through of my yard. He listened to my concerns made an assessment and gave his recommendations, along with quotes for the work I requested. We called him within the next three days to setup the appointment and they were there on time, worked very speedy and professionally. I was truly amazed at the work they did for the price. Scott's Yard Care has a professional group of employees that do great work. I highly recommend them to anyone that is tired of all that recurring lawn maintenance.

I have been very pleased with Scott's work. He and his crew are here as often as he said they would be; quietly working at keeping the shrubs trimmed, grass mowed, twigs and the like picked up and the yard looking nice at all times. Scott is easy to work with, capable, knows his business, takes an interest in my yard. I appreciate that.

Scott scheduled service within two days of our acceptance of his very reasonable quote. His crew arrived promptly and worked diligently and efficiently until the job was completed. There were large tree limbs down on fences and sheds, and the debris from the Feb ice storm was tremendous. When the crew finished cleanup, the yard looked amazing. Scott's crew went beyond the quote in removing items from the crushed shed, and in cutting up downed trees that were outside the perimeter of the yard. We would definitely hire Scott for any yard maintenance required in the future.

What didn't they do?! We recently bought a 1+ acre property, with enough pecan trees to choke on, which means a huge mess of dropped, moldy pecans in our backyard. None of the shrubs or other trees had been trimmed in quite some time, grass needed cut, leaves covered every inch of the yard and all porches, especially our upper and lower front porches, and a very large, old, rotting pile of wood needed removed. Scott and his team worked their tails off for almost 10 hours the first day (11/8) then returned early the next morning to finish up the end detail work, almost another 5 hours of work. Scott also arranged for the skip for the yard waste and got us an extremely reasonable rate for the rental. They did a fantastic job, especially considering the size of our property and that we're an hour away from Scott's normal areas of service! I lucked into Scott; had been getting very frustrated trying to find someone who actually worked in our town or would be willing to come up here to take on this job. Scott took pity on us and I am so thankful that he did! We were very lucky finding him. Buzzwords for Scott's Lawn Care Service, Inc... competent, diligent, courteous, dedicated, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, fair and honest pricing.

Scott and his crew arrived early on the day agreed upon and was finished in half the time we expected. All waste including tree kimbs were removed and areas blown off. At no extra charge Scott edThe work was done quickly and professionally. We can't say enough good things about boht the amount of work and the quality of the work. If we eve needed any yard work again, we would not hesitate to call.ged the driveway and walkway just to insure his work looked professional.

Scott contacted me within minutes of me sending the email through Angie's List. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. He came out to give us an estimate and we talked about what needed to be done and how he conducted his business. We had a lot of things that needed to be done from the start and he quoted me a price on that ($450), then quoted us a price on cutting the grass and trimming the lawn every two weeks ($100). In the initial cost, he did a LOT of work. There were things that needed to be done here that would take all day to do. So the price was more than reasonable. The price he quoted us for every two weeks was $100 which includes cutting the grass, bagging the clippings, edging the yards, and any other project we ask him to do. When he initially did the work with trimming all the trees, clearing down the drive, cutting down some red tips, and cutting the grass, he did it most of it and while we couldn't be here that day, there were a couple of things he missed. All I had to do was let him know and he got them the next time he came out. No hassle about it, no problems. Before you think $100 is a lot of money for cutting grass, let me say that we have probably three acres of nothing but YARD and GRASS! He's been a joy to work with, calls before he shows up, lets us know if he can't make it, is prompt in his service, and does great work. Just a pleasure to deal with someone that takes pride in their work. Thanks, Scott. :)

It went very well, but I am surprised at Angie's List for one shortcoming. One of the reviewers of this lawn service gave Mr. Weymouth a "C" because he was not in her area and unable to provide her with service. How can you possibly rate someone who never worked for you? And why would Angie's list let this stand? Thank you, Mr. Weymouth for a great job!

Arrived right on time, went to work and did an excellent job. Went over what was done when finished to be sure I was happy with everything. Scott and two other workers here for the job. All were pleasant, friendly and did their job well. They will be taking care of this property from now on.

After looking at several vendors, I selected this company from the Angie's list. I like the promptness and responses by calls and email. Soon after the first visit, Scott sent me an itemized bill containing the complete description of the requested tasks needed. He started the job the next following Friday (April 19, 2013).

As a retiree, I was having trouble keeping my front yard looking good, so I got an estimate from Scott and several other competitors. His was the best and most comprehensive. After a thorough initial cleanup, he performs my yard maintenance twice a month at a reasonable rate. He's gone above and beyond the minimum required of him every time he has worked, and he is professional, prompt, and dependable. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of lawn care help, whether the job is large or small.

They provide services on a weekly basis with a high degree of competency and care.

Mr. Scott came and gave the estimate within a couple of days and returned that weekend to do the work with his crew. They were on time, courteous, efficient and did a great job - exactly what was promised at the promised price. Couldn't ask for more. I have more plans for them this fall and winter!

Great - very professional - good work

They arrived promptly at the time they said they would. They were professional and polite with my wife. I was at work when they were here so I inspected the work afterwards. The lawn looked the best I ever saw it. The neighbor across the street even hollered over to me that the lawn looked great. The shrubs were all trimmed and shaped nicely. The professional looking edging around the driveway and landscaped areas really added a lot to how neat the lawn looked. Fresh mulch and pine straw was added around the azaleas. 2 of the landscaped beds were in sore need of TLC and although they didnt add any plants, the way they trimmed up everything and clean out the overgrown brush, made those areas look like something you would see on HGTV. The junipers were a mess and I was thinking about removing them but after they cleaned out around them and trimmed them up, I changed my mind. I am happy to sign a contract with them to take care of my lawn from here on out.

I had been hospitalized several times over the last year and a half, and my lawn was severely neglected. The leaves overwhelmed all areas of the yard, and the thought of removing them was a daunting task. I called Scott's Lawn Service after reading his review on Angies List, and he came out the same day for an estimate. He completed the job the next day as promised. He and his crew did a very thorough job of removing the leaves, and cleaning up the lawn in general. As I stated in the previous section, Scott's service removed all the leaves in my front and back yard, mowed and edged the grass, cleaned up the neglected mulched areas, and pruned an area around my pool. I was impressed with the company's up-date equipment -- Scott certainly seems prepared for any lawn maintence job. Although Scott had a crew of two or three men, he worked on the job himself and had a very hands-on approach. I was extremely impressed with the job done by Scott's Lawn Service, and was particularly impressed with Scott's professionalism. Considering what I was charged for the service, I really got more than my money's worth. I plan to have Scott's service back for other jobs and I recommend him highly.
