Russell J. Diller & Associates

Diller gave us a rough price and we worked on a cost-plus basis. He takes great pride in his work, and has skilled employees and sub-contractors. The only sub-contractor that was not up to his standards was the painter, and he no longer uses that painter. Diller offered excellent and creative ideas. We had envisioned a functional screened porch. Diller made suggestions that turned it into a delightful and attractive living area. It is often the place of choice for the family to gather, and in all seasons (due to a gas patio heater). We also had some unique ideas for an outbuilding. Diller was able to build exactly what we asked for. We make jokes that we could ride out a hurricane in that building. We currently have Diller quoting on a garage addition.

Requested an estimate from Russell J. Diller for a new garage based on an ad we saw in our church bulletin. He provided a bid that ran higher than the others and took longer to produce than any others. We never spoke with anyone at his company. Although numerous messages were left at his office, he never returned our calls. He chose to work directly with our architect, as opposed to every other contractor from whom we requested bids. (They worked with our architect while still contacting us as well.) Ultimately we chose another contractor to build our garage.

Mr. Diller is very professional, very fair and honest. I would highly recommend him to anybody.
