Denny's Appliance Service

This company will not come "all the way" to Bluffton (just from Beaufort). Unfortunate, because they are missing out on a lot of business.

It went well. The repairman went above and beyond with the repair.

I called and asked if they do work in Bluffton. They said no. My wife called (she didn't know I had called) and they told her they do work in our area on Tuesday and Thursday. Strike one. Technician Kevin checked our fridge and said it was the sealed system and parts would need to be ordered and it would take 3-4 days and another appointment would be set up for installation and repair. We would receive a call in a few days. I asked if he (Kevin) would do the repair and he said a more experienced tech would handle the installation. A week passed and no phone call. Strike two. In the mean time, we are using ice chests for our food and the tech knows this. My wife calls this morning and we later receive a message, they don't do warranty work in our area. Her response was, "I would have thought the technician would have let you guys know, or someone in the office would have let you know." Strike three. Sad. $95 service call, which is fine, I understand that is the going rate. The dysfunction communicating the facts in a timely manner is our main complaint.

this business deserves 3 negative stars rather than 1 positive. nothing like getting harassed by your local incompetent repairman to get you fired up. i wish i had gotten his name. he's short and has dark hair. it starts with my parents getting a new HE washing machine from Lowe's in Beaufort. We would call Lowe's when we had a problem with it, and the business they picked has been the most unpleasant business because the day would come that Lowe's said was the day that Denny's Appliance of Beaufort was to come and fix it and Denny's RESCHEDULED. the day they pick is recon, because they didn't fix the problem. they would come back and say they have to order a new part. this went on for THREE MONTHS. we couldn't use the washer. we went to the laundromat during this time. we own a washer but we had to use another AND PAY FOR IT. how pathetic. the last visit was the worst of all. the same repairman that has been coming to our house accuses me of stealing his drill. He didn't say it to me, he came back after that visit looking for his drill and his paperwork that said that he worked on our washer. he didn't find it and i told him that i would keep an eye out for it. so he goes back to Denny's Appliance and tells his boss and his coworkers THAT I MOVED HIS DRILL. i imagine to save his own a**. and so the harassment begins. my mom was accused of stealing. we did eventually find the drill. it had been set into a clothes hamper next to the washing machine. he found his paperwork somewhere else. we are keeping the drill not because we are selling it or because we need one. OH CONT RARE MY DAD HAS A MUCH BIGGER DEWALT. My mom just wants to make it clear how it hurts to be accused of something you didn't do. and today i didn't notice that he was at one of my neighbor's house until the same repairman that had come to our house all those times before drove past and asked me as i had my dog outside "Are you enjoying the drill?" and drove off. i shouted "Yes we are!" Do not let this business within 500 feet of your washers. they're incompetent and i gather this because Lowe's hired a second business after this from Charleston and fixed it in the same day. VERSUS THREE MONTHS DENNY'S. this is going to be copied and pasted everywhere i can post it DENNY'S APPLIANCE has scorned the wrong woman.

They were very friendly, very thorough, very willing to help, very capable and went through great lengths to make sure things were done correctly. They were terrific.

Technically there was a problem but it didn't need to be fixed. I still had to pay for them to actually come out. They were good and honest. Even though there was a problem, I didn't actually have to pay to replace it.

The water pump went out in my washer. When I called, they had someone out the next day. They had to order the pump. They got it on Friday and were out to complete the job on Monday. They were also less expensive than the company Sears and Samsung uses. I will use them again should the need arise.

the repairman Tim, was very courteous and professional. The repair time was quick. He arrived on time and fixed the machine to my satisfaction. I would recommend Denny's to friends. The repair costs were less than normal as I am a member of American Home Shield and they pick up all costs except the service fee. ,

This was my first experience with Denny's. I have an extended warranty though Lowe's. Denny's was assigned to preform the repair. Kevin the technician arrived promptly on schedule both visits. He demonstrated a positive customer service attitude and ability. I would not hesitate to use Denny's in the future.

It went very well. As usual the on site fee was expensive, but when it was all said and done., he accomplished what he came out to do. Generally offered advice and information the client asked. I will use this company again, if the need should arise.

They were prompt. They convinced me I didn't want a new one. He was very helpful because I was considering putting in a new dish washer and he said I don't want to buy a new one and he can fix this one because this is a good one. He has ordered for a part and he is to return to fix it. We got a good service last time as well.

There was no charge because my refrigerator was under warranty. They were on time and friendly. They dealt with my schedule. They tried everything they could try. They went above and beyond to try to fix the refrigerator. I would recommend them.
