+ -1 moreIt didn't. Three strikes and he is out! 1. Don't bother to try and reach him by phone. You have to text or email. 2. So I texted him for a quote and got a really rude response. Stated that what I said "meant nothing" to him that he needed make and model. So I sent the make and model although all I needed was for him to just screw the brake rotor back on. I had all the parts. 3. After sending him the make and model he didn't even bother to respond. Never will bother with this person again and will definitely tell all my friends about the unprofessionalism and rudeness that he exhibited.

+ 0 moreThe refrigerator had iced up around the bottom drawer freezer causing the drawer not to seal and then leak out onto the floor. Matt had to disassemble most of the freezer and then use a small steamer to clear the ice from the coils. He found the problem in a drain tube that had plugged on the bottom and explained to us what caused to tube to plug. Reassembled everything and it started back up without an issue; hour and a quarter beginning to end. I appreciated his knowledge and skill and given what was happening, was pleased at the price. .

The Company Owner Matthew was more than willing to go out of his way to listen to our issues with the refrigerator, and to help with ways to temporarily fix the unit until he could get to us. + 0 moreWhen I realized the dishwasher water leak was coming from the center near the motor I called for repair. Matt was over the next day. He located the problem quickly and cost out a repair. It was about 2/3 of the cost of a new one, and since it was 10 yrs old he recommended replacement. I asked for his recommendation and he said it would be cheeper and faster for me to buy it locally and call him back for installation (unless the store provided it free). We looked together online at what was available in the local big-box stores and he sorted through the features and recommended a model that meet our wants. I purchased it and it was delivered in 5 days. He was there the next morning to install it. Installation was complicated by the long plumbing run through cabinits but he had all the tools and experience needed. Very friendly guy and I was very impressed with his knowledge. Would highly recommend him to friends.
Description of Work: Called for broken dishwasher. Repair would cost more than worth so he replaced it instead. Helped us select a model for local purchase. He then did the installation which was complicated but he did it very professionally.

Description of Work: We had several different issues. First our freezer was icing up and leaking water. Matthew diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and the charge was minimal. About a month later the dishwasher started leaking water. This involved three problems and took longer to fix, but Matthew worked through it and everything is working fine now.

In addition to fixing our refrigertor he is helping us replace a broken hinge on our oven door. The part isn't sold in the US anymore so he did an internet search and helped us locate the part in Europe! We will definitely continue to use his services.

Description of Work: This is an amazing story. We have a 11 year old dishwasher that works just fine, except for the feature which allowed us to raise/lower the upper rack to accommodate tall items in the lower rack. A small part mounted on the upper rack had cracked, so the rack could not be raised and locked in position. This had been going on for a few years without causing too much trouble, but now we had new dinnerware with large plates which were too tall for the lower rack. I called this company upon the advice of our plumber, to discuss repair. To save me the cost of a visit to my house, Matthew asked me to email him all info about the dishwasher so that he could see what was needed. I sent him all info, including photos of the dishwasher and up-close shots of the small part that was cracked. I explained that I really did not want to pay a whole lot of money for repair. If it would be expensive (part and service), then I would just wash the new dishes by hand. I did not hear from him for a while, so figured either the part wasn't available, or it would be too expensive a job. Then one day I got an email from him, saying that he had found the needed parts on an old dishwasher that he had taken to the dump. I could stop by and pick them up, my husband could install them. We drove to his home, picked up the parts, brought them home, installed them and presto! Good as new! I offered to payMatthew for his time, expertise, the part, etc. but he would not take any money!

+ 1 moreHe was very good. He was fine and we were so pleased to have him. If we need a plumber again, we'll certainly call him. He came out in a timely manner and was very mannerly. He got the work done in no time. He took out the old one and put in the new one, and was on his way. It was a nice experience. I would hang on to him. I have recommended him to neighbors and I will continue to recommend him.
Description of Work: I used a plumber for my garbage disposer. It was an insinkerator, a good one. He chose it. He has the model circled on the instructions and wrote down the serial number so I wouldn't have to go upside down under the sink to get it. He also wrote down the installation date.
