+ -1 moreThey never come when they say they will, I've experienced this so many times I just couldn't work with them. Their price is good and the people that do come do good work but they are terribly unreliable and extremely unprofessional and don't care about customer service at all. I would never suggest you call them.

Description of Work: They have been mowing my lawn. They do a good job and the prices are good but getting them to come and give me a bid was awful. I had to call many times and they said they would come and didn't. They have helped with yard clean up and it's the same story over and over. The manager is less then helpful, they don't really care. BUT they people who come do the work do a great job and the prices are really good. It's very frustrating but for now I'll continue to use them.

+ 1 moreThey were courteous hard workers and did a great job. Eric took care to make sure plants were set exactly as i wanted and set high enough not to drown in the wet soil of rivertowne. He also gave me clear instructions on how to care for them to get them established. They even cleaned up some work that my previous lawn care company did poorly. I would recommend this team!
Description of Work: Eric and his team delivered and planted two 30 gallon palm trees purchased from hidden palms.

+ 0 moreLori and her crew were wonderful. They worked hard and helped out immensely with the design. The project was given a hard deadline due to an important social event given at my home. The problem started when the crew was given many, poor, small, unhealthy plants to install for my yard even though I was charged for much larger and healthier plants. It took many phone calls to arrange for them to start to correct the problem. In the meantime, the deadline passed, and my landscaping was incomplete and was lacking the major focal point plant in the design while my event took place. Still, after the event, it took many phone calls and visits by the landscapers to try to correct the problem. It was months later that the job was finally completed and still not to my complete satisfaction. Again, to no fault of the crew, only the management of the company. Once the job was completed, I contacted the company and explained that my balance would be paid over a reasonable period of time due to their negligence, unprofessionalism, and extreme length of time to complete the job. Even though they accepted my terms of payment, without notification, the company dropped me from the normal lawn maintenance program. After being a customer for at least five years, I was treated unprofessionally and rudely. I will never use them again and do not recommend them to anyone else.
Description of Work: Landscaped with Beds and Plants around small fenced yard and created a pad and walkway to Barbeque Grill.

+ 1 moreFirst, it was obviously a busy time of year for the company...BUT I had to call numerous times to get them to come to our house. Then the estimator failed to show for the first appointment. After we got though that things went reasonably well. They did an acceptable job and charged a fair fee. We will probably use them again unless they chose not to accept the work.
Description of Work: They spruced up our landscaping, trimmed trees, added some plants and put down new pine straw.

Description of Work: We have had Lawn Rangers for well over 10 years. With work totaling thousands. Routine lawn care, sprinkler system, sod, garden installations, tree removal, etc. Over the many years I always dealt with one lady in the office. She is no longer there. I beleive in February(not sure of date) we needed to have a medium size Bradford Pear tree removed. I called and asked for a price to have the tree cut down and taken away and the stump be cut flush with the grass. Quote was $500.00. Upon completion of the work the men left a 2-3 foot stump. My husband said wait, :you are supposed to cut it flush". They stated that a man would be out tomorrow with a stump grinder to remove it. He asked if it was included. They called their boss who said YES. My husband then got on the phone and asked again. Answer was YES. The boss came out and for the third time he asked if it was included and the boss said YES. A man came 2 days later and removed the stump in 15 minutes. I then received a bill for 600.00. I called and was informed that was for stump removal. My husband called and reminded them of the incident. Their answer was no. Then when I called the girl in the office "She Offered to split the difference" and charge us 50.00 for stump removal. It comes down to an issue of principal. So after all these years, all the money, it came down to 50.00. We paid the 600.00 and did not renew with them and are done doing business with them. You can choose them if you like, their workmen are very good, but I would suggest getting all quotes in writing.

Description of Work: Provider mowed and trimmed lawn to specifications. Blowing grass residue in back patio ended up on the screen porch. They say they pull weeds, I don't have evidence of that.

+ -1 moreBought the shrubs at Hidden Ponds and left them there with Lawn Rangers. Lawn Rangers scheduled a time over the phone during the next week (rain delayed the install a little), then they delivered the shrubs, removed my old "weeds", ammended the soil to the proper pH and installed the Ligustrum. Evenly spaced in my front bed. Plants are growing well. Got a bill in the mail for the install.
Description of Work: Bought 4 mature Ligustrum at Hidden Ponds and had Lawn Rangers (on-site at Hidden Ponds) install for me. They did an excellent job and ammended the soil and gave me a guarantee.

+ 0 moreWe have been with them forever. We don’t even see them come. They come, do the lawn and leave. They are due to start on April 1st. They will send a new contract before April 1st and we usually used to get a monthly bill for two cuts at a time. They are faithful. They are there every Thursday unless it is raining. They have many people and they work quickly. They are in and out. They take the debris with them. If I want them to trim the palm trees, then all I have to do is call them. They will do that extra work and will bill me a little extra for it. So, I have no problems with them. They have been the same for years. They are prompt and are here every Thursday morning. It is hard to get a hold of them in the office sometimes. I would probably continue to use them in the future too.
Description of Work: We use Lawn Rangers Inc. for our lawn maintenance. They come every other Thursday to cut the grass and to trim the bushes. Their last visit was last summer.

+ -1 moreWe have been customers of Lawn Rangers for years. Unfortunately, it is under new ownership and the service has become both more costly and haphazard. We asked that the weeds at the top of our home be poisoned as well as totally removed. They were not poisoned and were partially dangling from the home. When the estimate was given I was told the poisoning would take place and that someone would come into our home to check if the origin of the weed was in our attic. We were not called to make sure we would be home and no one bothered to leave a message on our answering machine to let us know what day or what time we could expect them. My advice to anyone considering using Lawn Rangers is to have the service specifically written down next to the estimate and to make sure they call before they arrive so you can be assured that work is done to your satisfaction. If you have any issues with work done they are NOT willing to assume any responsibility for shirking their end of the agreement. Customer satisfaction is NOT a priority with this company!
