 + -1 moreBuyer beware!! Drilled holes in carports / garages should be no further apart than 1 foot. And, EVERY concrete support post under your home should be drilled with multiple holes through which the chemical is applied. On a personal level - I know nothing about Pest-Tec not ever having dealt with this company other than "after the fact" in this situation.
Description of Work: In July 2012 - I made an offer to purchase a home in Easley. My realtor suggested several pest control companies to evaluate the property for termites. When the selected vendor inspected the property - they found that Pest-Tech had done less than what should be considered as "industry standard" for a termite "shield" application - both in drilling holes in the garage (further apart than standard - recommended at no greater than 1 foot apart) and under the crawl space - (drilled holes in only the first four concrete columns as you go into the crawl space giving the appearance that ALL post under the crawl space had been drilled). With the pest control company inspection documentation presented to myself and the realtor - Pest-Tec was asked to either come back to the property to do the job correctly or provide me with a letter of certification of bond that they would pay for damages - until the annual contract ended in January. They opted to provide only the letter rather than do the job correctly based on industry standard - and I have now informed them that they will no longer provide pest control service to this property.

 + -1 moreOwner of business responded promptly to my call to inspect house. Reached agreement on treatment and scheduled treatment through the office before he left. Technician that did the treatment was very conscientious and thorough. Performed work in a very professional manner.
