Description of Work: Replaced a light switch, replaced an electrical outlet. Checked a light fixture that was working improperly.

 + -1 moreHe did a good job and I have requested numerous times that he come back to do a smaller job on securing the crawl spaces and he has not responded.
Description of Work: Mr Hopkins repaired the wiring that was stripped by druggies under one of my rental houses in Anderson. He also repaired the heat ducts that were crushed by the thieves.

 + -1 moreThis was a perfect repair. Mr. Hopkins responded to my initial call in a timely fashion and showed up at my house right on time. It was obvious that he knew what he was doing and was able to make both repairs quickly and I have had no problems since. His price was reasonable and he was very pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him or use his services again.

Description of Work: Had light fixture that I could not match with the junction box. Figured I'd have to call a professional. Mr. Hopkins called me back and I explained my situation. He quesitoned me about the product, I contradicted him, but he continued to explain what he understood to be the nature of the product and how it ususally works. A light went off in my head! I saw what he was referring to, agreed with him, thanked him and then I installed the product as he described. He saved me money and embarrassment by talking to me. I will use him again and may be able to pay him next time.

Description of Work: We use Hopkins Repair Service anytime a repair is needed. This particular occasion, we had an electrical issue. In fact, we were out of town, another family member was staying in my house and told me about the issue. I phoned Charles Hopkins, he came over and made the repair and told me he would bill me. I completely trust this man in my house!

 + -1 moreOur house is about 1300 sq. ft. one story ranch with simple gable roof. We needed contractor who would work within our insurance claim allowance. This contractor was referred by my neighbor and turned out to be one of the lower cost estimates (big box stores estimated anywhere from 1500-8000 dollars more). I would gladly use Hopkins again.
Description of Work: Complete tore off asphalt shingles, new felt, ice guard, 30 year dimensional shingles, install ridge vent, replaced approximately 7 small box vents and a pipe boot.

 + 1 moreHe is one of those people who I can let into my home and I don't need to be there. We have used him for years and decided to use him again. He is a little bit on the expensive side, but you can trust him. He does electrical and handyman work. He is prompt and honest. He calls you back quickly when you call. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Hopkins Repair Service did some plumbing work about a month ago. He did electrical, plumbing and also the gas work. He has worked on our air conditioning before.
