Our job was small so not much interaction

After living in our home for 20 years, we wanted to remove the wooden deck and replace with a screened porch. Don listened to our ideas, needs, and lifestyle, and developed two design options for the additional space that fit the style of our house. He provided a CD with two dimensional views of both proposals which made it easier to visualize what the end product would look like. Once we settled on a design option, he provided detailed drawings and estimates of the work. We took two bids and his was just as competitive. We selected his construction company, ICON, which is managed by his brother Doug, to do the construction. From the beginning to the end, it was as stress-free as any construction could be. The constractors used by ICON were all very, very professional and very skilled at their respective trades. All contractors were easy with which to communicate. Doug provided day-to-day communication with us in a way that caused minimal disruptions to our work day. He provided excellent supervision of the contractors and the building site. Don continued to provide design input. Work was completed on time and within budget. The finished project is wonderful. I love, love, love my screened-in porch and covered patio. Would highly recommend Chapman Design and ICON construction.

We were pleased that Mr. chapmen was able to come out the same day. After looking at both ceiling cracks and taking pics in our attic he was able to determine it was not structural, only cosmetic. Looked at the porch inside and out, asked for shovel. We knew he had another appointment after us so my husband shoveled for a bit then Mr. Chapman stepped in and found the bottom to be deep and dry to our relief. Noted the porch had a slight lean and a few brick cracks. Suggested a few flooring options to cover the cracks that I guess reappeared from the first leveling of our floor. Something was mentioned about drilling a hole in the floor, but can't remember if it needs to be done. Our drive is old and cracked with a tree within a few feet.. Suggested tree come down, new concrete and French drain as we are on a slope. We asked if he could get this all done and now were waiting on quote.

Done in 3 phases over a couple years. Design and construction were virtually stress free. All the folks at Chapman Design and Construction were professional and there when needed. Any problems or concerns were addressed immediately. They may not be the cheapest but I highly suspect they are one of the best!
