They were very good. I like the way they did my carpeting. I felt like I got a fair deal. They are very courteous. They do good work. I'd say it took most of the day. You are talking hours. They were excellent. I don't know of anything they could improve on. It took them all day. I don't think they got done until 5 or 6 at night. They did an excellent job. I love my carpeting. When I get ready to do my other rooms, I'll go back to them.

The decision making was made simple. They strictly adhered to my requirements. My sales person came to my home to measure the areas and made good suggestions about how best to seam the new carpet with the existing carpet. I was able to change my installation date due to delays with my other workmen. I had to wait 2 weeks instead of the one week delay I requested but that ended up working out about right. The installation crew arrived as scheduled. It took the workmen an extra day to complete the installation due to an error in the carpet measurement but they accommodated my schedule and kept me well informed throughout the installation. Several extra men were brought in late Friday in order to complete the job before the weekend. All were courteous and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

One of the aspects that impressed me most was that moving of appliances and furniture was included in the price. I would not have been able to do that work myself. The other carpet company charged extra for doing that chore. The price for all the work, including installation, was about $500 less than the other company quoted to me. The installers were very neat, and cleaned up the work area and left behind beautiful floors. I highly recommend Carpet Fashions Carpet One.

As I was considering a remodel conversion of a bathtub into a walk-in shower, I decided the floors in the bathrooms and the kitchen needed to be changed also. I compared several companies before deciding on Carpet Fashions/Carpet One. When I walked into their showroom, I saw some floor samples on display that looked promising. Margaret Belk came up to me and gave me a great deal of help. When I decided on the samples I liked the best, she suggested that I take them home with me, and I signed them out. She said I could keep them until the house was to be measured 4 days later. This was a big deal for me, because the other main flooring company I had looked at would not let me have a sample to take home. With the other company, the sample would have to accompany a member of that business (such as the person who was to measure the house). I felt I was trusted at Carpet Fashions. When comparing the 2 companies on price, CF/CO was lower than the other business by approximately $500. In fact the entire cost of both bathrooms and the kitchen equalled the price of just the kitchen floor and installation of the other company. Also, the moving of the appliances was included in the price at CF/CO and was extra with the other guys. When I scheduled someone from CF/CO to measure the house for the flooring, Margaret Belk came herself. I was impressed with the personalized service. I told her I had a small window of time to get the flooring ordered and installed. I needed it done during my upcoming vacation, which was about 3 weeks away. She was agreeable. I really appreciate her working with me. I even threw her a curve when I changed my mind on one of the floor choices over a weekend, but she wasn't bothered at all. Ultimately, my choices were the best I could have made. Margaret Belk made the planning of the floors a real joy. I am very satisfied with the floors. The warranties are good too. The bathroom floor materials have a 12-year and the Kitchen floor has a 25-year warranty. Beauty and durability are the 2 most important qualities in flooring. Kindness and expertise are the 2 most important qualities in service. With Carpet Fashions/Carpet One, I was able to get all those qualities in one remodel.
